How bad would you beat yourself up

I don't know how bad you would beat yourself up if you face multiple failures. I would really want to beat my head against the wall right now, whenever I think about how stupid I am in managing my money. Recently, I was gone through garnishment from the credit card company. Luckily, after several calling and begging, I finally set up a payment plan with them. And I just have to limit of spending significantly now. That was the money I didn't spend, but I open a business with a friend, who scam me for it. 5 big grands of it, can you believe it? With that much money, I can buy a car or something. When I look at my parents, they are much smarter than me. They work hard, and they got houses and cars. For me, I got none of what they got. I just have to ask myself, whether I am too greedy, that is why I want to start a business, then I got scammed. I have to beat myself to the wall.

Don't beat yourself up, that's the worst thing to do. Life is hard, no escaping that. The case of your friend is just bad luck, I guess you can't call him a friend anymore. Try to just get yourself back up there, emotionally, first. Then try to not spend much on things that aren't needed. Maybe ask help from your parents? They are good in handling money, then they should be able to help you with this problem, parents should help their children, right?

Sorry for your loss mate. You should rather find that so-called friend who scammed you of five grands --- consider his damn face for granted and start kickin' until he pleads. Its pretty hard to take in when someone you believe betrays you.

I think its not a good idea beating one self. I have made a few mistaked of the past but never had a feeling of beating myself out. Its not that I got scammed but I may not properly manage my finances that time. That case I have learned a lesson and now its turning well and better.Everyone commit mistake,We need to be fail,to learn and to make things well ..I think its just a lesson for you to handle the next step of your failures and have your own victorious way. Take care and Happy myLotting!

I am sorry for your loss. It does not mean that you are not smart, it is just that sometimes we trust a wrong person. You will get better in business and in judging a person next time. I did a business with friends before and it turned bad as she took half of the money and claimed it hers. Well, I am still friend with her, but I know that working with her will not work. Oh, I also don't trust her with money anymore.

best thing to do is know what a scam looks like, smells like or act like. i am probably my own worst critic but the best thing to do is not to get down on yourself too much im learning this myself. but good luck w/ everything!

I recall plenty of times in my younger days where I'd make mistakes and would be so hard on myself just replaying what happened and what I could have done over and over in my head. It would just make me feel so bad to where I would get nervous when trying to do something else of the somewhat the same situation. It's like feeling embarassment from yourself. Theres so many situations I could think of I went through to learn that mistakes are going to be made so you are able to face the next bigger situation the next time around. We all want to just make the right decision at the time but it dosent happen everytime. I would chuckle to myself when I thought of those times I make a mistake and think " what a dummy":) but its okay now. I learned different approaches for situations and people now since I fell on my face all those times.

No you just take a lesson from what has happened and move on, I have made a few big mistakes in the past but beating one self about it is just a waste of life, so learn and move on.
