Well i thought it would be fun if we share some of our embarrassing moments in life here. But if you don't want to, you could just read and laugh or whatever. So I'll start telling my embarrassing story: It was the time of our thesis proposal and everyone was in a really serious mood. Then my thesis adviser asked me to speedily get some questionnaires photocopied. So my high-heels and i ran towards the floor where the machines were located. On my way back i heard weird sounds coming from my shoes and viola! the precious heel of my right shoe came off. So the whole proposal i was sitting and when walking down the corridor i dragged my foot to prevent the semi removed heel from becoming obvious. Eyes at the corridors were looking at me as if I'm on a spotlight. It was so embarrassing that I went home right away and paid extra to the driver so that i won't have to ride with others on public. I felt so down that day but when i had already reached home and i thought back of what happened i found myself laughing so hard. Who among you had experience losing a shoe heel? What would you have done? I hope you will also post some of your embarrassing moments here. I'm sure I'll enjoy reading it.

Childhood seems to be filled with embarrassing moments that we are too mortified to remember and can't seem to forget. As we surge into adulthood, we are are better at hiding those awkward moments when they happen to us. i remember one school day back in elementary school. We all had to give an oral book report in front of the class on a book we have read. i was on my way to the front of the class when someone tripped me from the aisle. i fell down in front of the whole class and my notes for the book report went flying. i didn't want to do my book report anymore. i just wanted to run somewhere and hide from the humiliation. It was not one of my better school moments.

Hi. flapiz. That is embarrassing! I would have just acted like my heel was not broken off of my shoe. My story is also, quite embarrassing. I am sure that my story is even more shameful. When I was in middle school, I would wear certain clothing that I did not have on when I first left the house. Some of the clothing would belong to my aunt, or cousins or it could have came from somewhere that I bought it from. Well, after I got out of school, I would walk back home. I would then reach a path that was made of a bunch of field. There were no houses on this land. It was nothing but a bunch of high weeds and bushes. And right now, there is a trailer house where this field was at too. I then would begin to duck down and remove the clothing that I did not want to get caught wearing back at home. I have done this a few times before. But one day, my secret was discovered! There was some guys that had went to school with me, saw me changing behind the bushes. I was not naked or anything, but I was in the process of switching out of my clothes. So when they saw me, they started laughing and they teased me about me changing in the bushes. I was so so ashamed!!! So when I went back to school, they would always ask me if I was going to be changing in the bushes again! Talk about total embarrassment! I know that they went back and told the other students at school about me.

Hello Cream :) That is quite an interesting story. Well why didn't you just wear what you want to wear at your house rather than changing in the bushes.. lol

Let me see...it's really funny, it was a time...oh well I cannot tell that, it's a girl thing, I'm gonna tell the second most then: I was with all my buddies really wild on the streets skating and I fall and not only that, when my face touched the floor my legs went up and I stopped like that. I didn't even get angry with the little laughing, but they were worried, because I knew how funny it must have been that scene. I wasn't ashame...but I know it could be embarassing, I didn't feel like, I felt it funny!

My most embarrassing moment was when I picked up a diaper for my baby, Jilian. I found myself picking up the grocery as a father for the first time so go figure all the mothers there. I had my wife on the phone at the same time because she was guiding me what items and how much we exactly need. We've just moved recently then so it was also my first time visiting the grocery store. Let me paint you a picture: I looked like a kid lost in the library. LOL. When I was almost finished, only the diapers are missing, that's when all the embarrassment started. My wife told me to pick up a napkin for her. Not the typical napkin, the ones women use when they're having their period. So I picked up her napkin. Those napkin's wrappings have the same color as babies diapers have so I confused it as a diaper and told my wife "Are we gonna need one for Baby Jilian?". That area where I was, there were a lot of women. I swear, I heard some chuckled. All I could do was scratch my head. :(
