Yes,you read it right,I was able to touch a shark, yahu! I don't know why wild animals really fascinate me much! Actually, this happened 2 years ago and I just remember it now so I'm sharing it with you. I really wanted to go to an ocean park here in our country 'cause I heard there are sharks for us to see so me and my hubby went there and I'm really so excited that day! My over excitement leads me to danger, there was a little pond inside the park where starfish and some quite big fishes swim,I didn't even bothered to read the signs as I wanted to put my hands in the water. Well,I saw a foreigner who did that so I just followed, lol! I waved my hand in the water so the fish would come to me then I saw a quite big fish who looks like a janitor fish who immediately swim towards me,I got even more excited,I continued moving my hand in the water and when that fish is almost near my hands,I lifted up my hand and touch the back of that fish. It was so smooth and soft like a jelly,so exciting. Didn't notice that a staff saw me and scolded me that I did not follow their warnings, she said the fish that I touched was actually a shark,OMG! You know what,I was really so happy! I'm not even listening to what the staff is telling me because of the happiness and excitement that I felt, haha! It was a bamboo shark! It was really unforgettable! How about you my friend, have you had an animal attack experience?

Oh so nice you husband work on the ship maybe he can take pictures for your baby. This is my baby and I put it in the wallpaper with the flowers. Thank you for the welcome here. I will not be here too much because I work part-time and I go to school and I take care of the baby. So I really do not have too many days or free time but I will come once in while to discuss. I am not worry about the money because I know I do not have the time. Enjoy your day.

Hi amiga... thats really a great experience for you. I can imagine. Yes, as i am associated with wildlife, hence i have faced many wild animals like buffalo, elephant, rhino, monkey etc. But nothing bad happened as we were trained to handle the situation. have a nice day.

Hello mtrguanlao, That was funny to read, hehe.. For some reason even i am fascinated by wild creatures and i like to have a look up close, lol. When ever we spot a snake on the road we actually run towards it to have a look, lol! Although i have to say i don't like snakes and don't want to touch them either but having a close precautious look at it is all that i want. I must have been exciting to touch that bamboo shark, i wonder if i could have been that patient enough to wait for any fish to approach me, hehe. Anyways, i hope i get to have some nice exciting experience as you. I have been to a wildlife reserve but we were unfortunate to have spotted a lion or elephant from close but i have to tell you the jeep ride across the slope was getting scary and exciting at the same time when we got to got to see fresh elephant foot prints and the slope is such that if any elephant arrives in our path we have absolutely no where to run, we were instructed to stay silent and shut off the engine and make no noise at all!!! And it was also exciting to have one night at the middle of a jungle and hour house was surrounded with a circular trench to prevent any elephant to come attack the rest house. Now obviously the lions could have jumped across it and come but the house was lifted up on as a platform with some wood and the stairs leading to the ground were supposed to be lock so the lions were unable to come after us, woo.. Just the thought of such things made us so excited despite having seen a wild life from close. It was such a nice trip. I hope to experience more with wild life and this beautiful nature.

Hi Dear mtrgualao! I am living on a Stud farm, which spreads across about 150 acres or even more! Here we have ample of wild life! For you my farm can be an ideal place to enjoy, to see and if wanted also to touch a live snakes in wild. We have many snakes on the farm. the common poisonous snakes what we get here are Kraits, Vipers and Cobras and we have many non poisonous snakes like keel backs, Rat snakes, Boas etc. Normally we don't disturb these snakes when we spot one as it is their natural habitat. But some tomes these snakes enter our house by gate crashing at that time we need to remove them out with the help of sticks! Once we have spotted viper in our kitchen and another time we located a Cobra near by Window AC in both the cases I had to remove these snakes with the help of sticks on which to leave them back to their wild habitat! It is a common thing to see snakes crawling on our lawn during the season that is during summers and also in rainy season! The snakes look very beautiful and move very fast and each snake is having its own way of movement! Thanks !

Hello voldrox! Lol,oh yes,if somebody spots a snake on the road,I will surely rush and take a look at it as I really wanted to see a moving snake, lol! I've seen snakes in the zoo but they are all still and asleep, grrrr! I wish to touch the snakes but they are inside a glass like an aquarium. Your story is amazing! I've seen those on tv,didn't actually know it can be done by civilians,I mean like you who are not trained for animals but of course you're accompanied by a trainor for sure! True enough, the thought of being attacked by a lion or an elephant is the most exciting experience in your trip, love it! See yah!

Maybe I will jump, run and hide, lol! While hiding,I will look how it moves and take a video of it,wow! So that's a not new to all of you,in our place,if we spot a snake, many people will for sure stare at it,lol! Thank you for sharing your story AKRao!

Wow,that's so exciting i guess. Yes,i've done such crazy thing too. It happened in Singapore zoo. I also didn't read the sign "never feed any animals" Singapore zoo, unlike here in our country that every animals are on cages. But in Singapore it's far different. There were animals ,not on caged. I was sitting on a bench when i saw a cute monkey, small one really that looks cute. As i am eating junk foods,i want that monkey to come closer (thinking it's not harmful coz it's a small one) the little monkey do come near and get the bit of junk food that i gave. Then, this little monkey run and climb back to the tree. I watched fascinated...little i realized that a bigger monkey is coming my way (oh my) Suddenly one of the zoo keeper approached me and took me away while scolding me. "don't you read the signs..never feed any animals...see what you've done?,you're almost in danger, didn't you think there's a lot of monkey around, and they will come to you..do you think what will happen then?" I just stare at the zookeeper with my eyes wide open, imagining what will happen if those monkeys will grabbed me and lift me to the tree

hello again mtrguanlao , My experience never stopped with monkey (hahaha) After the scolding...i just smiled and proceed with my lazy feet, roaming around the zoo. Then,i was looking for a bench to sit and have some rest, can't find a vacant one. What i did is lean on one of the rock ,at least to relax . Suddenly the rock i was leaning on moved (aha) good thing it didn't moved fast. It only made a sudden slow movement as if saying "uhmnn, don't put all your weight on me" Hmnn...wait,i have to check on this rock why it moves. Okay...it's not a rock...it's a rhino D*mn,i look so stupid now (zookeeper is not around anyway) so i could laugh out loud (hahahaahahha) Singapore Safari is more exciting...you can see all the animals freely roaming around...even the wildest we could imagine ..lion,tigers,leopard,cheetah ...

Hi Dear mtrguanlo! You are becoming happy just by touching the Shark! Now I am not getting how to express my feelings as I have eaten a Shark! LOL! We have our ancestral house at a village which is situated few Kilometers away from the Sea. We get lot of sea food in the local market and during a particular time we get lot of baby sharks in the market and they are very delicious to eat. Since they are babies they have all cartilage in their body and this is very tasty. The hark babies which we get are about 2 to 3 kgs by weight.Of Course Some are bit smaller too! This is one of the commonly eaten fish here locally during the season! Now it is your turn how should I express myself ? I mean with which sort of emotion? Thanks for the discussion!

Hello both of you. :) Wow, some farm you have got there Ak rao. I have to say it's actually pretty scary when a poisonous snake comes inside your house, because it is most probably going to bite you as it gets no space to run. It must be a difficult to remove such snakes with the help of sticks! ? Wow, i sure would need some guts for doing the same. You really need to be careful, take care!

Hi. mtrguanlao. I have never touched an shark before. I think that I would be really scared to stick my hands in any water where fish is located at. I am glad that you had a wonderful moment here. And I can see that it did not scare you at all.

I like wild animals! I am always excited to see if I could see a deer in my yard but I have never seen. I would like to touch them but I doubt it is a good idea to touch wild animals though because they might attack us. The animals at the zoo would be a different animal where trainers are there and watch you to be with the animals.

Hi mermaidivy! Wow,you reminded me of my friend who took a picture of a deer in his backyard while it is eating his plants. I no longer see him here, sigh! I believe animals in the zoo are still quite wild as I've been hearing news about animals attacking humans. We just really have to be very careful, hehe,am saying this? Lol! See yah!

Hello my sweet friend. You did what?? Oh my gosh you could have lost a whole arm or pulled in. Although exciting, if anything like me afterward I would be like oh my gosh what did I do. It does sound like it was exciting to be able to feel them. I have not been that upfront and close to any sharks. Whoosh thank goodness. But I have been in waters with dolphins on a trip to Eureka Springs Arkansas. Their skin is so soft but yet really tough. Although these are trained I was still a bit afraid lol
