Any shocking news you received lately?

This can be news about anything at all. General news we hear in TV that may concern a lot of people, a whole country or the world... or it may also be a news that is relayed to you by your friends in school (personal issues, like a classmate not graduating, an officemate suddenly resigning... anything under the sun!) news... by your family, sisters, parents, relatives.. Any shocking news received lately that you think is worth sharing with us? What about it that shocked you??

There's only one news that shocked me lately and that was what had happened in Japan. It really made me realized that we do not know when and where it would be, so we must always be ready.

i guess it would have to have been about the devestation in Japan. See, we have missionary friends who are in that area, but they managed to get word out that they were ok.

I have heard this week about a 16 year old boy getting shot by an 25 year old man. It obviously happened after he was leaving from a night club. And I also heard today about some person named Juice Jones that was going around attacking people on Facebook. This person was also deleting many friends off of their friend list. It just was so crazy! I don't like hearing about someone getting killed. And it is right where I live that is the most scariest thing about it.
