I have been reading Suzanne Collins' books. I went through the Mockingjay trilogy and now I am reading the Gregor the Overlander books. Has anyone else read them? They are good!! I was shocked to find out they were kids books (I am nowhere near being a kid!) but I like them alot.

I've read The Hunger Games trilogy (The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay) which is what I assume you mean by the Mockingjay trilogy... I was pretty sure it's official title was the Hunger Games Trilogy. lol BUT ANYWAY! I really enjoyed those and I'd be interested in reading more books by her. I'm totally backed up on books on my to-read shelf right now so it's going to be awhile before I get to them.
They're not "kids" books per say. The official term is "Young Adult" or "YA", so they're aimed more towards teenagers or early twenties. Personally I think a good book is a good book no matter what age it's labeled for. I read children's books, YA books, and adult books indiscriminately.

ha! You are right, it was the Hunger Games. :) I just remembered her being the Mockingjay, I guess. I was just pleasantly surprised I found them in the junior fiction section of our library. You would probably like the Gregor ones then. She is a great writer. Good luck on working through your shelf. :)

I think I've made the same mistake myself a couple times.
Sounds like fun. I'll give them a try when I've made it through the books on my to-read shelf. I've been backed up forever. I bought way too many books after Christmas.
