WHAT SHOULD BE THE LEGAL AGE OF MARRIAGE FOR GIRLS??

I think it all depends on the maturity also of the girl, but I think about my life in answering that question. I was married at 17. I believe I was very mature, but, I think I would have waited a little longer if I could do it again. I don't regret meeting my husband or my kids but if we could do it again we would have waited some more years untill we were finished with college and were more financially stable. Now, I believe I was mature, but at the same time, I could have made better decisions in waiting to make a family. I think the "legal" age should be after 18, not everyone is gonna go to college but I would hope girls would want to be smarter and get all that stuff out of the way first before making big decisions about family and stuff but they don't all do, I didn't, but I hope to instill in my daughter's the importance of all that before getting married.

I think it should be 21. But all cultures are different. It would depend on the maturity of the women. Wouldn't you agree?

In India it is 18 years and above. If any one marries a girl below 18 years, he will be liable for punishment.
