Many times looking back in life, we often regret some of our choices we have made, and maybe the people we might have married, been friends with, places we lived, etc. and really wished we would have taken the time to do something more with our life. And other times we might look back and know we had no control over most of it, but are trying now to make the best of it from here. We might be in our Dream homes, be married to the man or woman of our dreams, have a nice car, the job we really want to have, or we could be still striving to get there one day as well. Even when we may not be as Happy as we want to be, are you still in control and striving to get there? People who know me, especially in here, know that my husband and I have faced a lot of trials and situations but it has helped make me who I am to become. We still have our difficulties financially, and then to boot with my Health issues with migraines and being Diabetic, but we are getting thru. I do have some Dreams and goals in where I want to be and who I am to become and in reality I am the only one stopping me. No matter what happens I continue to Trust God and Pray and continue to allow him the control. It is my moving point, my waking point and without him in my life, even though I have the help of many of you I would not be where I am today. Are you the person you want to become or still have a ways to go some as well? ~~TINA~~

I still have a long way to go since I'm just a school student right now. I have regrets of many opportunities that I let go. I wish I could go back once more and grab them. But it's Ok. I have this one goal in life that I wanna get to, however hard it may be. I trust in god and I promise to work hard for it. It is something I have always wanted ever since I was a kid. Sorry I can't mention it, I have this jinx I believe in lol XD

Well, thru Trust and Faith and a belief in god anything is possible. It does sound like you do know what you are wanting to achieve and if you continue to stay focused on it good things will happen.

Im 30 and there were many things I wanted to do but never got to do and there are plans I have now that I want to fulfill in soon. This things consists of character changes, life's choices, how I view life and others. Trusting in God will help us find and walk the path destined for each of us. We ay not think so at certain times in our lives or even currently, but we will make it through. I have still some living to do and I would say not age wise.

Yes, this is very true. And many times there are things we would like to see happen in our life that may not always be feasible at this time. But if they are meant to be with Gods help they will happen.

I'm always a work in progress. I only have one major regret (maybe two) the biggest is breaking up with my first love. It's been years but I still think about it and it still hurts. The second is choosing a better career path. It seems lately I've been struggling financially in the last few years because I chose a job that doesn't pay well but it allows me to do what I love which is travel. There are pro's and cons to each decision we make. Overall I will say I am still satisfied with where I am. I have a lot of blessings. My life could be a lot worse than it is and I am grateful for what I do have.

Well, some of these things are things that are normal everyday things that a lot of people will often continue to face no matter what happens in their life for sure. The one about loosing the Love of your life... Maybe if it is meant to be things might present themselves again someday to where you could be able to try and make that up to them as well?

I'm mostly who I want to be. OK I'd like to be a bit taller and other things that are impossible, but as far as what I have control over, I am me. I have done almost everything I want in life. All my choices led me to were I am today. I backpacked up the coast of Australia, graduated from college albeit a few years later than I should have, had a motorcycle, lived in San Francisco in a darling art deco style apartment, moved to Israel, started a business pet sitting. I'm quite happy with were I am right now.

I have learned to ask for waht I need, and then forget it. If I truly need it sooner or later it will turn up. Any control I thought I had is a illusion and so I just do the best I can at whatever comes along and let my higher power take care of the rest. Worry is a complete total waste of energy. So I no longer let it into my life after all I am not in charge.

Well it would be nice if worry would never be a part of my life anymore. But sometimes I think it comes due to not being sure what tomorrow will bring as in Health, etc. for sure. But I do know that I do continue to Pray and trust God and know that he does know Best and in his time everything will be OK.

I am still a work in progress! I think I am who I want to be but then again I am not where I wnat to be! I thought when i was younger I thought I knew what I wanted to be and was going to do it. What I wanted to do changed and that took awhile! I have goals and dreams yet! I don't know if that will ever happen! I am not very motivated or impatient to to do things! Money has always stopped me,too! Sometimes I am content some times I am not! I guess it depends on what is going on in my life! Life is always chaging!

Well, I think as we tend to get older we all find this type of thing to be the reality, and overall, there is not much we can really do unless we are truly unhappy and then it is time to rekindle the sparks of life that makes us more happy and move on again from there.

I never want to stop growing and changing. I'm not the person I want to be, but I hope every day I take a step in that direction. Right now, with all of the things going on in my life, I can't see the reasons for them. But I ultimately know that God is using all of these things to make me a better person. And even though I struggle sometimes with the "why" of things, I at least know Who is going to get me through it.

I'm reading books in which I'm doing reverse brain washing. You know how all your life you so people say you're terrible according to different people or it's good to be poor to get to heaven and all kinds of stuff. Now I'm reading about believing you should be poor will keep you poor, but believing you should be rich or at least monied will help you have money. The last time I read the book, I got a job that lasted for 3 years and the first couple of years, I had plenty of money. It's like if you think possitive and you think you're great, then you are. If you believe $ will come to you, then it will.

I'm happy with where I'm at in life however, it took a long time to get here mentally. For many years I was a very insecure gal for many years till I had to rethink things and realized how I was and how I wanted to change for the better. It took a long time to get my thinking to change but now that I'm there, I'll never ever go back. Now that doesn't mean I'm happy with myself 100% because I'm not BUT I'm satisfied and happy enough and that's what matters. I've got a wonderful wonderful husband who loves me to no end as I do him, I have a nice home and a decent car, I'm not hungry and have enough clothes so what more could I ask for?

I am grateful for a lot of things and I think that there are a lot of good things in my life. I have had many problems and I have been through many failures, but I have also achieved some of my goals. There are still problems or challenges in my life, and I think it will remain that way in the future, but I am happy about the place where I am today and the good things in my life. I have dreams and goals for the future and there are many things that I would like to learn. My problems and failures have made me very sad and very frustrated and sometimes I still feel that way, but those things have also made me the person that I am today.

I also gone through many trials in life. I do think and sit for a while, remembering the past and figuring what life might i have if i married the other guy. What and who i am now if i pursue my career rather than being a full time wife and mother for many years. So many things that sometimes do tickle my mind, but no..i never regret any decision that i made. I know that life won't be simple, even the richest and the famous are not having all smiles and happy life. I am happy with my life, ups and downs gives me a lot of lesson to learn and consider. It made me a stronger person more than i thought i will become.

Hi KrauseHome I am not completely the person I want to be because everyday I feel that I still need areas of improvement and it gives me a sense to challenge myself more. I do not have the health issues you do but I am a major migraine sufferer as yourself so I can related in that area. I also trust implicitly in God and each day it is a constant prayer simply for strength and positivity in my life and of course for forgiveness. I don't ask for very much because I do feel that what is truly recommended will come my way. I do always ask for blessings for all whom I love and prayers for all. Like you I would not be standing to day.

I have been sidetracked for a few years, but believe that I am back on the right track at this time. I did not stray from my faith, but I did let small things get in the way of the bigger picture.

It is a part of life that we live and learn. It is what makes it who we are..even the bad choices have reasons. I don't want to be more as much as I want to do more. I don't know if I will ever be finished with all that I want to fit into my life. Health and money can be the most hindering factors sometimes. It really takes alot when we are faced with these two things. I have always been faced with money issues but thank goodness..so far so good on the health. I hope you reach your goals Tina. Take care.

You sure said a mouthful! I have actually had the opportunity to be what I always wanted to be - a teacher in an inner city school setting. I gave it up to go ministry - a decision I now regret. But as they say hindsight is 20/20! I also got to go live in Chicago... until my son had his wreck and now I am locked in at home caring for him.. but I have learned to be thankful for all the things I got to experience before his wreck rather than doing the wishing...but I still have some dreams.. we'll have to see what God has in mind!

Hi KrauseHome. You just described all the people I have ever met. We all regret some of the stuff we have done in our lives. We all have wishes and dreams of a better life. But lets all face it this world is run by the almighty dollar. With out Gods help I don't know where my life would have ended up and I thank my LORD for all of HIS guidance. I am thankful that God gave me the mother and dad that HE gave me. My mother taught me how to be tough and my dad taught me how to be caring. Mom also taught me about God even though her beliefs was not the true word of God but it gave me the desire to hunt for the truth of Gods word. I think that I am where I wish to be in life. I had many brothers to teach me many things. I know how to do minor work on a vehicle. I know how to build a home or anything I wish. That was because my twin brother built me a jewelry box. And that led me to desire to learn how to build things and my ex taught me how to be a carpenter. My husband that I have now taught me how to love working in the garden and yard. So I think I am pretty well set at being what might please God and that is all I desire now is to please my LORD God. We have bible study everyday with a great teacher of Gods word. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm

The best weapon in fighting and overcoming our obstacles is have a strong faith and trust to God. No matter how difficult life must be, let us remember that our God is bigger than our problems. Just be yourself and do your best. Be an inspiration to others. Think positive. Do not let your worries and frustrations ruin your life instead make them an inspiration to make you a strong person and move on. In God's time, just be patient, will survive all these and you soon you will fulfill all your dreams.
