I"m not sure how many of you may have heard of the relatively new fad going through with young people recently...VODKA EYEBALLING. The kids are literally taking shots of alcohol...directly IN THEIR EYES. They believe that this is becoming more popular because obviously the person will get drunk faster since the alcohol is going directly into the bloodstream.

It indeed is a very st@pid game, one that who do this do not realize of the nerve damage in their pupils in can cause.

That's very true..it is a truly STUPID game, and the kids don't remotely take into consideration the damage they are doing to their bodies...much less their sight.

I guess they figure anything that will give a quick fix...and good buzz...not even considering the damage being done to their body.

Very true...and unfortunately, i have a feeling it's the kids who simply want to fit in with the "cool kids" who will try this and realize in the end the damage it had done.

Do they know that there are a lot of blood vessels under their tongue? If they let the vodka sit under their tongue for a bit before swallowing they will get drunk just as quick if they can stand the taste. That way there is no risk of blindness. Who comes up with these ideas? Doesn't it burn their eyes? How can they stand it. The burn in the mouth is bad enough, I can't imagine in your eye.

From reports i have heard about this..it burns the eyes like crazy...but the people doing it tolerate it. It not only burns they eyes..but potentially damages sight...eyes..and no one really reports on that.

Maybe these people are now aware of the possible consequences their activities might do to their eyes. The government through the media should warn and educate the public about the dangers of these stupid game.

I have heard of this from a TV show here called The Doctors and it is a very dangerous game. My understanding is that some have actually damaged nerve endings in their pupils.
Kids today try just about anything for fun and this is one area they need to be ware and stay away of.

Sad, but true...young people today will try almost anything...especially if they think it will give them a quick fix...an easy high or buzz..or an emotional escape from reality.
