what is your position in singing?

I was a vocalist in a band before. I do think that the position during singing will affect singer's voice and performance. As a vocalist, I need to find a suitable position that make me comfortable with. That is an important point; as if I feel uncomfortable, I will not be able to enjoy singing and it will bring bad for my whole band performance.
