When I used to live in my 2 bedroom house I had a shed in my garden. It was very useful for keeping my lawn mower and my garden tools. Now I live in my three bedroom bungalow. It has a garage which I have made cluttered and a green house. The green house is old and I was planning to get rid of lit. I would like to have a shed put up that looks like a garden summer houses. If so I will paint it blue to look lovely instead of the ordinary wood color. I won't need a shed because I now have a garage which I have my lawn mover and garden tools in.
Do you have a shed in your garden? If not do you have any other garden building?
Is there anywhere to sit down in your garden like a bench?

Not only do I have a shed in my garden, I have two! One is full of gardening tools, mower, whipper snipper, garden stakes, fuel, etc. The other one is larger and is full of recreational things like camping equipment, bikes, scooters, beach stuff as well as some boxes of food for our business.

We have a small shed in our back garden, and it is full of all sorts of gardening tools, forks, spades, hose pipes, empty plant pots which I swear I will re-use. Last year we had a bit of a de-clutter, and my husband kindly rigged up some shelving and a small workspace so that I can prepare pots for planting in the shed, without having to be outside - especially if it's not too warm.
We used to have a bit of lawn, requiring a lawnmower - but since there was not really enough grass to make it worthwhile, we landscaped and put gravel down instead. No need for the lawnmower, so now we have slightly more space in the shed.
Looking forward to getting back in my garden soon, when the weather turns nice and warm.

I wish I had a shed to put everything in. My husband has been looking for designs for me. That way I would have a place to put tools, soil, fertilizer, gloves, kneeling pads, everything for gardening-even the current year's seeds. Maybe this year. Stay tuned!

We have a little shed in the back yard where we keeps most of the car stuff, gardening tools, lawn mow etc. And it is a place where the annoying gounrhog lives underneath the shed...
We don't have a bench at the yard but we have a hammock in between two trees and we have a porch where we put a set of tables and chairs on it.

Yes, we have a garden shed, quite small, but it fits everything in it... just! What I really need is a decent workshop - style of shed. There's a song down here by John Williamson that has the line "all Australian blokes need a shed". I'm only half a man if I don't have a shed. My wife has promised me one when we buy a house on the Gold Coast. Hopefully we will be up that way in the next few weeks. The garden is now looking better here than it ever has. There is the odd seat, but no bench. The retaining wall that I've just put up is about the right height to sit on, but the view from there isn't fantastic.
I hope your blue shed that looks like a garden summer house turns out alright. It'd be good to have a decent sized garage to put everything in (we just have a carport!).
My parents used to have a greenhouse (or shade-house I think it's called down here). It always used to be the coolest place to be in the summertime. We could grow the most exotic plants there quite well too.

I have three bed room plot and a shed behind my building that is old somewhat but i collapse that shed and then make it to new one because while i am gardening in my garden so many things are there to store in a shed that's why i change my shed which was infront of my house and then the garden was covered totally of my house there are so many chairs and benches in my garden it seems to be its just like a park and my colony people put my house a name called garden house. I like garden thats why in evening times i like gardening to do. Some what gardens and the parks are the best nature for us.

No, I do not have one in my garden, but I do have one in my yard! LOL
I also have a greenhouse and a garage. Though I don't put my lawnmower in any of these areas. It's usually left under the carport (which is almost fully enclosed) when it's not in use.
And yes, there are a couple of places to sit in my yard. However, it's pretty old. I could certainly use some new pieces of furniture out there... LOL
Happy mylotting!

Oh how I wish I had a proper shed Maxine, I have tent sheds where the hutches are for extra protection for the rabbits and a brick built outhouse that is so small you cannot even fit our bikes in unless they are upended. My son has so many outdoor toys like go carts and razor bikes they end up in the lounge cluttering as cannot be left outside or will rust. There is no room for a shed either not even a small one so just have to hope that when he is a bit older I can rid rid of some of the bits. I do not need a lawn mower as the grass area is so small the rabbits munch it down so one less job for me to do. Your idea of a summer house type shed would be lovely. huggles. Ellie :D

I do have a shed - I on;y live in a two bedroomed cottage flat but, have a huge garden so having a shed made sense as we still have tonnes of room even with it in and can store loads in it! x
