i living in there since we were kids, all the through the grade and high school,we spend almost all the time together , it might just as well have been family .
however when we graduate from high school , i moved away from old neighborhood and enter a university far away from home , they are still living there, i missing them
i don't forget but just kind of lose touch , actually i haven't seen them for more than 5 years, only annually phone call during spring festival keep us in touch . sometime i suddenly want to write to them ,but always postponed it .i don't know the reason behind it . do you move away from childhood's neighborhood and missing your life time friend ?
how do you do with it ?

Hi cx258641 and a warm welcome to myLot!
It has been sometime since I moved from my childhood neighborhood so I suppose with time it became easier to let the memory fade. I have not forgotten them totally but am not feeling the deep affects as perhaps you because it may still be too soon.
My thinking is that the reason why we loose tough is that many go in several different directions and develop new lives, new friends and busy activities that somehow we loose touch.
Did you get contact information from any of your friends? If so maybe drop them a line and see how they are doing?
