love vs. obsession

it such a fine line between love and obsession and sometimes we don't realise when our big love turned out to obsession. so what makes the difference between them in your opinion?

love is doing everything you can to make your loved one happy you will be selfless but an obsession is definitely doing everything just to make yourself happy you don't care if the one you love still be happy... too much love can turn into obsession that can cause hatred for both parties. it can cause suffocation and straggle.... better not turn your love into obsession it might ruin your heart

I think when there's obsession there's only passion, it's not love. When we really love we get more selfless and obsession comes from being selfish. It's wanting the one to us, they belong to us, that's what it means.
When there's obsession be sure to never marry the person. I got obsessed once, he with me, me with him, we were like a bomb. I realize now he was the guy actually I loved less from all of the rest.
