Why Do More People Want 'Extra' Money than Just 'Money'?

I guess with all the price hike of things, there can never be "enough" money. What may be "enough" for today may not be so for tomorrow. Hence, people are finding ways to make "extra" money so that when the need arises, the "extra" money can help to pay for it. Perhaps people also want "extra" money so that they can spoil themselves by buying luxurious items for themselves. But, given the choice, I don't think anyone would be crazy enough to be "destroying any extra money".....

Why will extra money make ALL money worth less-and-less?

Hi mythociate, It is a fact that everyone loves money and those who say they dont, spend their most of time worring about money. So now we have everyone earning their livelyhood but we do need more money to enjoy extra bit in life which we can not do with the money we earn from our jobs or anything which is our main earnings. So the earn extra money is which supliments your income, hense the name.

Maybe because majority has their own jobs as source of primary income, but feel it is not enough to buy their needs or wants, that's why they are looking for other ways to earn income in addition to their primary source of income. Since they cannot leave, or are not yet ready to totally leave their primary source of income, just like their jobs, they cannot go on full blast with what you called "making just enough money".

For me making extra money is working online because I work from home where I earn my primary income. So the money I make online is just something extra. I don't yet understand how making extra money makes all money worth less-and-less. But this is just my opinion. Extra is always worth more.

hi mythociate, There is no enough money sometimes. And the "enough" not always stands for human greedy, I mean sometimes we need much money, for education, medical,the just money can't afford them so we consider the extra money. I try to earn extra money in my spare time to satify my fees of traveling, the just money i use for expense of daily life. And i like this style life, not very busy, and can make my dream come true.

Extra money means the money one has got besides his or her salary. I think most mylotters got their full time jobs in a company. And they do mylotting or other online earning programs for earning side money. I think it is very hard to earn enough money through online program. There are some people who are good at online earnings and can make big money on it. But generally speaking, most people can only earn small amount of money. So it is called"extra money".

I guess money is never enough, we always want more than what we have.

hello mythociate, Good point here,yes why people using "extra money" when in fact they don't have enough money in their pocket. "Extra" it means...having enough money,or more money-that makes extra money just an extra..aint right? but the truth is...don't have enough money to last for a day...here calling "extra money?" i wonder now hmnnn. Give me something to think in here...i need money..not extra cause i don't have money to spend for the shoes i wanted to buy

Because the money that we say that is enough is not enough for us. Enough money can only afford out basic needs but we cannot afford those things we want.

I find most people use "extra money" to mean "more than my main job pays me." Often it isn't truly "extra" but a necessity to get by.

people usually need extra money than just enough money because people have WANTS and needs than just NEEDS alone :) what i mean is people can't live with basic necessities alone, people have their own wants so we all need EXTRA MONEY

People want to have extra moneys because we all have our own wants and needs. As a human being, one of our imperfections is being not contented with the things we have. Even the rich can't have all that they wanted, what more for the poor or average people.

Because people have MONEY but they don't have extras. :)

Everyone wants what they don't have..more of this more of that.

I think having just enough money would not allow us to indulge on the things that we want. We can only have the things that we need. It is important that we can also spend money on things to reward ourselves thru the hardships that we have goe thru and if the money is only enough then we will have bland lives. Making extra money can also let us save for rainy days.

First of all: Imagine that now you have money to buy the most expensive car in the world. Let's say you spend all your money on that car. Next year will be released a better and more expensive car and you can't buy that one... In conclusion, there is never enough money. Secondly: most of the topics named "earn extra money" are about ways of making a few dollars 1$-200$ (at least that ones that really works; nobody can live a decent life with money earned from there so they need to have serious jobs which provides them a big amount of money and they use these topics just to have a secondary income.
