I just wanted some of your opinions on what you think of name brand cosmetics? Does the brand really matter in your decision to purchase? A lot of the Ladies I know, really do care what brand and where they buy it. Me personally, not so much.

Choosing make up is depending on what you need. Buying expensive make up that is good in front of the camera or keep the make up last for hours on your face is only for celebrity. Like me as a supervisor who faces clients and attending meetings for hours everyday, I need something that will last for hours specially my lipstick. A little touch ups for powder and blush as well. a water resistant mascara to protect my eye make up when it rains specially in a tropical country like the Philippines that can rain in the afternoon after a sunny morning. My make up are from The Face Shop, it is affordable, good for sensitive skin and best for Asian like me. Plus, its formula are from natural ingredients. Look around in malls and find what's best for you.

The brand matters to me, I don't like using or trying out a brand I have never heard of.

I think it is not so much the brandname that I will depend on but the reputation and the quality of the products when I considering buying cosmetics, we put this on the face so we can't just buy crappy brands.

When it comes to cosmetics or particularly anything that I apply on my skin, I am really brand conscious. I think a good brand signifies good quality as well - tested through time and proven to be gentle, good and efficient by its loyal consumers. I don't just use stuff that I am not familiar with because I want to be sure that the product I'm using is manufactured by a legitimate cosmetic company.
