I'm getting married in two months, but I think it's not enough. The church, the reception, the invitations, the bridesmaids, gowns, and everything. It's good that our family are supportive to help us to prepare for everything. I'm excited to be in the tallest church in the Philippines.

hi angel! im an events consultant by profession, i hope that gives credibility to some of my ideas. anyway il share some with you . preparation of church docs are the first things you need to work on and i presume since you're getting married in 2 months that you have all of these done by now. gowns, suits and everything your entourage is going to wear should be booked to a designer at least 2 months before the wedding to allow for adjustments. for the venue, consider the peak season and the type of venue you are going for. since youre getting married on a summer, then beach venues should be booked as early as 3-4months prior to the date. just dont go over the 2 months preparation for the reception, whatever type. as for the invitations, they're supposed to be out (at maximum) 2 weeks before the wedding, shouldnt be later. if you wish your guests to rsvp, invites are released a month before the date which means submission of entourage list, proofreading, and checking of final draft all takes place within the month before the wedding date.for the flowers, check which flowers are available in season to avoid over-pricing. videographers and photographers are also booked at least 2 months before the wedding so that if you wish to have an avp or pre-event photo shoot, you have the choice to have it scheduled at your most convenient time and to allow for re-takes or edits if you wish to have some done for your final output. and then as an important part of the timeline, coordinate all your preferences to all your wedding suppliers and coordinators and make sure all details are well noted. and one very important tip, since you already have your own preferences of how you want your big day to be, you may also check on your suppliers for suggestions and dont have your relatives meddle in the transactions. most events, when there are too many who does the transacting, do not end as expected. lastly, haggling with suppliers is fine but dont always believe that you got a really good deal when you got the cheapest in the city. go for the average.
preparing for a wedding can be really stressful. be very particular with whom you entrust your big day too. good luck and best wishes!

Firstly Congrats to you on your upcoming wedding! Somehow I speculate that it will all come together as the days near you will feel more and more nervous thinking that you are running out of time.
I think it will be fine and it won't be until you say I do that all of the anxiety slows down. Best of luck and take a few breaths and you will be the lovely bride.
