I just out recently that "avocado's" are fruit. Seems strange to me. I always thought that fruits have juice or seeds and the Avocado don't have juice and it only has one seed. what are your thoughts on this fruit that taste amazing. I can eat them in normal form or homemade Guacamole. that's the only way I've eaten avocado's.

Of course avocados are fruits. I havent encountered anything that says its not a fruit at all. Vegetables are fruits because they are fruits of that certain plant. The classification is just diffirent. In the philippines, people normally eat avocados with milk and make shakes out of it. We find it weird that they are in a dip.

I've grown up knowing avocado is a fruit. hehe. Being in a tropical country like the Philippines, I've eaten avocado in two or three ways, but primarily as a dessert fruit - it can be mixed with crushed ice, milk and a little sugar then blended into avocado shake, it's super delicious specially during the summer; it can be cut into bits, drizzled with condensed milk and mixed with some ice cubes; or simply, avocado ice cream! I've never eaten guacamole though :) I wonder how it tastes like :)

I can understand how it could be eaten as a dessert. It's kinda sweet. I love it in the guacamole form and eating it in its raw form. I guess people eat fruit and veg's different in other countries than us American's.

Avocado is really a nice fruit. I only knew it for, like 2 years.
It's nice to eat with toasted bread.
They have avocado in Subway, u can pay extra to add on sandwich, like I do.
