I heard this the other day, listening to a success seminar by Jim Rohn. That guy had some really interesting thoughts on business and life, and how to make yours better.
What do you think about profits being better then wages?
The concept is, that wages are limited, because you only have so much time in a day, and wages are paid by the hour, or the month.
Where as Profits have limitless potential, because it is money based on the results of your actions. The time it takes to earn profits could be much much more, or much much less, then to earn an equal amount of wages, yet if you apply yourself and train your mind, and develop your skills, profits are clearly the better choice.(at least in my opinion)
Of course there is only two ways to earn profits...commission sales, which is easier then you think, chances are you have been selling since about age 5 with out even realizing it. Or owning your own business, which is harder and either way, it is all in the marketing.
Sincerely and With Appreciation.

It sounds pretty reasonable.. But profits being BETTER then wages isn't entirely true.
With wages you have a constant income. You know what it is going to be, and how you got it.
With profit, it differs every time. One week you might make $5000, and then one month you might make only $500.
So yeah, they both have their pros and cons.

Very true, and with both, at any moment you can lose it all. With wages it is up to someone else maybe, with profits it is always in your control.
