In playing a game of chance, will you aim for the highest price or you would settle for a price or an amount which is 50% or 70% of the grand prize.
I was watching a game show on the television when I happened to watch this game show wherein a contestant was asked on what amount she would settle in.The contestant belongs to the poor sector of the society. She answered that she needs a 150,000 for hospitalization and some amount to pay necessities and the rest for livelihood. They haggled until they reached 5oo,ooo pesos but still would not give in until the last bid was 500,000 or the grand prize which is 1M pesos. She was stubborn and would not settle for anything except for the grand prize! The result was she only won 2,000.oo a far cry from the 500,000.00 which she could have won if only she agreed.
If you are the contestant how much will you settle in or you go for the grand prize.

In a game of chance, it is really hard to say that you're gonna win or lose. From my statistics class, I learned that it is really hard to win a lottery contest or any other game that involves chances because it involves statistical numbers. Well it really depends on the person of what he/she decides. :)

If I badly need the money, I won't settle for the grand prize anymore.500,000 is a big money after all. Sometimes people tend to be greedy and are not satisfied with what they already have. If you choose the 500,000 and at the end it's the grand prize that you should have won you don't have to regret, it's only part of the game besides you didn't lose anything, you still earn from it. Just grab the opportunity when it's there already and don't think twice.
