I haven't had a job in 3 months, I can't even seem to land a job interview. I have had 3 since then and I've been turning in so many applications and resumes, that I've turned in doubles on accident. I currently don't have a car and don't have money for buss passes all them time... do you have any suggestions on where I can look or what I can do to land a job?
Thanks so much for your responses my mylot friends

Well, I know how do you fell! I hadn't a job for a long period (about an year). Me In that bad moment everyday I always did the same routine: look for jobs in internet, I sign up to many job sites, go to job agency and leave curriculum vitae around in the city.
I think looking for a job is a "job in itself" and so you have to consider it like that. You have to plan and dedicate some hours a day to reach your objective.
My suggestion is never give up even if they don't call you for a job interview, you know it just a question of time, your job is just there waiting.
Good luck! Have a nice day :D

Thanks for the response. I agree with you looking for a job is a big chore that I so don't even want to do right now. It seems like I do more work just looking for work then I have ever done at one job in particular. I'm just hoping one of these days something good comes along.

Do you currently do this type of work, and do you have to pay after the one week is up?

hi wickedspies I know where you arecoming from here in the U
S in 'california jobs are more scarse than hens teeth. my own son was jobless for over a year and now has only a part time job.it looks
to me likeyou are doing allanyone could expect you to do. However
my son did get one job from networking an old friend he had worked'
with many years back. so try finding some old friends who might have some clues or some ideas that would get you into a job again. my own son does not have a car either so you both have that problem. try libraries
and local hospitals as they both are always in need of people to shelve books and media and in hospital there are alway a need for people in non medical jobs like housekeeping and the kitchen.also check on monster on line as a friend of mine found several jobs through nmonster also do not be afraid of temp jobs as my friend nelda got her great job through a temp agency that led to a full time job with the same company . hope any of this helps some. good luck. I will send a prayer for you.

I had to move back in with my mom to. I am going this route. I knew a manager at this store a few months ago and she tried to recruit me to her store but at the time i was kind of satisfied with my job. I think I am going to go talk to her a.s.a.p and see what she says about offering me a position in her store. Hopefully she will accept my application and i can get a job there. They looked pretty well staffed but I am assuming some of them were filling in from other stores. Anyways thanks for the advice and the prayers
