Another earthquake recorded in PH

I think too we could already be in the last days. earthquakes are recorded in Afghanistan and Northern India as well both @5.8magnitude!

May be we are in the last days.. because theres many false prophet arise now specially in the Philippines. claiming that he was the son of god and he and god was one... But i did not feel the shake today i amm from quezon city

i think for QC it is quite light, intensity 3 or 4. I am not sure. Anyway, you are right. There are many false prophets now. They are also giving a specific time of judgment, like many are saying that 2012 it is. We should always open our eyes to the true God and not follow these people.

True, you have to ensure your safety first so that you will be able to help lots of people. If you dont, you might just belong to the number of injuries or worst casualties

@blungel: exactly, i wonder too how we will respond in times of danger. we saw how the Japanese people handled it, they are still composed in the midst of danger. @both: it is true to some will be selfish, i believe that. they will think about their own benefit first. though, it is quite normal that you think about your own survival and your family first but we should at least extend a helping hand for those who are really in need. no one will help us but our fellowmen. we have seen how ondoy reflected the "bayanihan" or unity of Filipinos, I hope that everyone will know how to help when a disaster like an earthquake hit us badly.

We are talking about that, me and my husband. It is very rare that you hear about strong earthquakes and disasters before. But now it is happening all in one day! Afghanistan, India and 2 in PH (Mindoro and Camarines), really scary!

yeah, it is true. another one hit camarines after the one that hit mindoro. no records of casualties or destruction, good thing.

That's one major thing that the govt should think about. I think they are already assessing the possible damages and those buildings that are 15 yrs old and more. They are already checking bridges too and sadly many needs rebuilding and some needs retrofitting, but it may take a while. These things are already happening but the govt is only acting now! Sigh!

heard it was indeed felt in QC. Let's pray that quakes (if we really cant stray away w/ it) are minimal. Take care!

Good morning, dear! Listening to news, and hearing of another 6 in Japan! I am, when I get home from work this morning...going to find the link to our website for Emergency B.C., and sent it to you, so that you have a preparedness guideline! It is a very good plan! Even if you gleen just a little info from it, it gives you a wee bit of security. We are tremendously aware of earthquakes here in B.C. At times, I feel a little helpless, too...as the Island that I live on is very small, 17 miles long, 5 miles wide at the widest...and we are serviced by Ferries only. In the wake of the last Tsunami..we had NO ferry service. We are stuck here, so we really DO have to have a contingency plan, as evacuation from here would be impossible. I will PM you with that website!

That's right pergammano, we are sitting atop the ring of fire and we should all be prepared for the coming events. So that when it comes or even if it doesnt (I pray the latter) we would be safe. Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah, good thing no casualties were recorded yet to date, there's series of light earthquakes being recorded here since the quake in Japan.

There's really no reports of any casualties or anyone hurt. But the fear is eating the people alive. :(

It should be the other way round - hope the people will stop tearing up the earthAll these manifestations are just the repercussions / by product of how our human race have treated the earth

True! We cannot be certain on what's to come and what's there for us. That's the hard thing, we do not know what to be prepared of, but it is best to at least keep an emergency bag that contains food and water.

yes I heard about the earthquake in Myanmar. Series of earthquakes are now being recorded all over the world, hope the earth's crust will calm down!

We all need to prepare even if there's no warning. Earthquakes are really hard to predict. We have I think two fault lines that runs thru the nothern part of PH and my family is living between two faults and I am worried about them. Of course I am worried for our safety too, cos if these faults move, we will be able to feel the tremors too.

Yes! A cousin of mine, as soon as she notices there´s an earthquake she runs out of the building. I´ve read of some psychologist helping children to recover from earthquake traumas. Our mind is like an USB, it records everything. Isn´t it? Well indeed USB are like our minds. LoL Blessings!... Dainy

absolutely! and occurrence such as earthquake can be truly traumatic. it's good to seek help once you've been in a traumatic experience.

Yup! You right, friend. We need to prepare because we don't know when the calamities are coming in... Don't be worry because all of those things must be happen...that's the bible said. Because the end of the world is near and all those things are sign for the second coming of our dear savior

Only God knows whats going to happen next and only He knows when the 2nd coming's gonna be. I just wish that everyone will be prepared for that.

Calamities are happening all over in series! That's really scary, so we have to pray and be prepared at all cost!

I truly hope so too that all of these shall come to a halt. There are far more important issues to be addressed and the PH esp do not need anymore problems now.

The Japan incident really had the people scared and the recent earthquakes that's recorded all around the globe.

yeah, this could really be a learning lesson. Here in PH they assessed the damage that an earthquake may cause us and it may damage the whole metro! Meaning-damaged roads/building/houses, no water/electricity. Major blackout! and that's only some of what's to happen.

true, we have to be alert. though these events can bring us fear and panic, it is best to stay calm and think about ways to survive.

I sure hope that the Earth will be at peace soon. And that mankind would heed the Earth's cry for peace.

Yes, these maybe signs that the Earth is indeed being abused. The people should turn their backs from the bad things that they are doing.
