I know we always talk to people we are very close with, we sure know that we always talk about work, people, or we talk about what's new with people we know, and what we saw, like movies, or in the streets, etc....
When i am with friends, we talk about our work, our boyfriends, love life... hehe but i am not really comfortable talking to them about some private or intimate stuffs .. but some of you may talk about these with your friends, right?
Anyway... i guess there are a lot of other topics, like politics since you are not the debating type of person... he he

Hmm, it depends on the person I`m talking with. If I`ve known them long enough or trusted them enough to talk about private stuff. I`m an open guy, but some things, of course, I keep to myself. Not everyone should know everything about you.

I'm not comfortable talking bout my family matters, especially questions regarding my father. Questions like where's your father? Because I really don't know where he is, what he's into now, how is he doing if he's still alive or not. When one of those questions are answered, sometimes there is just a person who wants to dig in you more and that makes me tell my sad broken family story. And that makes the tough me softened.
Well, there's also a time I'm not comfortable talking about intimate matters of your partner. Like asking what you both had done and etcetera.. I'm only comfortable talking bout it in a joke and when a friend ask for some ideas. I keep our private matters private.

It all depends on how close your friend(s) are to you. I am a guy, and I have a friend who is a girl, whom I've known since we were 3 years old. I can talk to her about anything, the most intimate things. I also have friends from the office where I work, with whom I have to pay attention to my each word in order not to loose their approval, but can they really be called friends? Friend is someone to whom you can open up fully, the rest are just people you know. Thank you for interesting topic.

I am not really all that comfortable with talking to my friends about how I feel about some of the guys that I know. They just don't understand me all that well for me to openly say things like that. I also don't really like going into detail about my love life (though right now there is a lack thereof).
I also try to keep some of my emotions secret as I find sometimes that my emotions go rampant, and if I can control them I do, and avoid any kind of conflict with friends.

Hello Chiyosan,
Except to my special friend that i rarely talked to, i don't talked about sensitive things with other people. most of the time, even to the members of the family, they prefer to keep things to themselves. my mom prefers to lie just for the sake of peacewithin the family.but i have gotten used to it in a good result of respecting some one else's privacy, but because it's good to feel if I feel i can be trusted.

I also feel uncomfortable talking with people about my lovelife or about money.. people seem to be quite judgemental! Having said that, there aren't many things I won't talk about as long as it's not about other people.. I absolutely refuse to gossip because anything nasty or untrue that you say about somebody will always get back to them sooner or later! My mother always told me to avoid talking about politics with people you don't know well as that usually leads to arguments!
