Should we use nuclear power?

The disaster in Japan had shown us the nuclear power can be very bad.
Nuclear power is a cleaner (if no accident) and cheaper energy comparing with fossil fuel. However, the damage can be unrepairable if there is any major accident.
It is a good time for us to think about how we handle the nuclear power now!

Well after recent events I thought maybe not but I have since been told that some of the recent events have happened because of lack of precautionary procedures..I think if it is going to be used it has to be treated properly, all safety measures used and far away from where people live..

You are right. We should handle all the unclear power with special care, all the safety measures.
However, I also think that human mistakes are unavoidable, especially when people are concerned about money! No matter how good we do, we still need to face the accidents.
To place the unclear power far away from us is a good idea. This unclear disaster affected about one-third of Japan. And by now, our technology limited the location of the unclear power plants, they must be built near water as a lot of water is needed for the cool down. We cannot build the the plant at the middle of nowhere.
I have a whim, can we build an unclear power plant in the space? or at the moon? XD

After the nuclear blast in Japan, I had a doubt why we didn't take advantage of the green energy such as the wind, water and sun. Then later some people say that actually nuclear plant is safe and clean, too. France has many nuclear plants and they even export it to Italy since they create lots of power and they can't run out of it.
I love China
