Fiction about dreams?

Hey dreamers! I'm really interested in dreams and the science behind dreaming, and I've been looking for some fictional works that focus on dreams, dreaming, lucid dreaming, etc. So does anyone know of any books/movies that feature dreams and dreaming as major elements? Whole bunches of fictional works mention dreams or have fictional characters go through dream sequences, but I'm looking for stuff that's almost completely immersed in the science of dreams. Don't say Inception. I've already seen that one and I will be very angry if you bring it up like it's an unheard of entity. I don't live in a cave you know. Or a dream. Anyone else interested in seeing more fiction about dreams?

I'm it was a surreal movie. I just didn't understand, how can I say this without spoiling...real or not?

I'm sorry... what are you talking about? A movie that's been brought up in these comments, one that I brought up in my original post, or something completely different?

I'm afraid that I don't know any books which is alike that. But I think that dreams are interesting. So, If there are some books like that, I also want to read them

There's a YA book series supposedily about a girl who enters other people's dreams that I've thought about picking up several times. "Wake" by Lisa McMann. So far it's the only book series I know of that has a plot built around dreams... but yet I haven't read it yet so I don't know how good it is or how much it focuses on dreams. I'm sure there are more... I just haven't found them yet. lol

Seen that one. It really didn't seem to be about dreams per say. It used a lot of dream-like imagery, but it was within a heaven/hell/purgatory kind of context. Thanks though!

i think the dream thing is hard to explain. Once i dreamed that two boas are chasing me and hunting me. I was so scared and awaked. I just don't know why i would have such dreams???

Your comment is really off-topic. And I don't know why anyone dreams what they dream. Nobody knows why we dream period, at least not for sure.
