Have you experience this? Me, I have seen a girl also wearing the same clothes just like what I am wearing. I think it happens more than twice. The first I recall, we have the same blouse, its funny that I am with my bf and we are walking at the market side when he saw the girl wearing exactly what I am wearing. We are laughing all the way and trying not to bump with that girl again. Unluckily, I bump with her again and she also ride the same public jeepney and my bf can't stop laughing, thanks God she didn't sit by my side. The second time was when I went to my bf's place, we were at the street side, sitting, I saw this girl who wear the same tops I'm wearing but in a different color. I told him and he laugh again, we both laughing and I remorse wearing that blouse that night. If you don't want to be on the same boat, try to buy unique or rare style of clothes to be unique. I also try to shop for unique clothes so that I will keep away from sharing the same clothes with someone.

Hi Laniekins!.
I think its will odd if we meet people who used the same cloth but I hope you look nicer in thats outfit than her .
I think as long we buy our cloth in store there a chance we wearing the same stuff with others. Even when we buy it in boutique there is a chance we wear the same stuff because they usually had 3 pair the same models.
We can always play with our accessories to made it look different and more expensive. I love to play my plain T-shirt with colorful necklace when I go hang out for friend.

Why you feel dizzy when wearing necklace. If you allergic to certain material you can search for the others.
I thing when you wear the same cloth is a level of confidence game. As long you feel confident its won't matters just smile at who ever wear the same cloth with you.

Actually I feel choking when i have necklace on, I'm not comfortable wearing accessories. I don't I can smile at her when I bump into her. Our nature if we see someone wearing the same clothes with us is to frown and shy but when we are with friends, we laugh.

The problem with me is that I wear simple clothes without accessories. I sometimes like accessories and most don't. My ear piercing closed cause I don't put earrings at all. It has been closed for quite sometimes. I've tried to wear necklace but I feel dizzy afterwards.

It happened to me only once a few years ago that a girl has had one same pair of jeans I had, but that was only because they were kind of popular and they were selling lots of pieces of them. Since then I've never experienced anyone wearing same clothes as I do, so I guess I'm pretty good at choosing my style as I don't really follow the trends, but make my own style. xP

That's the best thing to do, experiment and do not buy all the trendy clothes. Jeans is pretty understandable but the tops/blouse is not so funny.

yup, I agree. plus I kind of never really find clothes that I want in shops, so I usually order some clothes from online catalogs since they vary a lot in styles and you can get something for every taste.

Yes, I had this problem before. The boss invited us her employees (5 of us) to have dinner with her before she went back to Australia. I bought a new pattern skirt in a mall and topped it with white blouse. Several minutes after I arrived in the restaurant, a colleague came in a dress of the same pattern as my skirt. People started to look and a couple of them said that we had a very nice uniform. Ugh....

Hi!
I haven't but my husband already experienced this. Yeah, he felt really embarrassed and uneasy, till the man left.
I think it is funny but of course my husband won't smile till this excruciating period is over!
That's the thing when we are buying from the department store or a certain brand that is so "in" to other people nowadays. I try to buy clothes that has unique styles so that I won't blend w/ everyone. But I think this can happen to everyone more or less.

That's the problem when the new style of clothes arrive at department stores. Many people wants to be in fashion but when you look around, there are many of them wearing the same style and color. I rarely buy clothes that is "in" today. The two clothes I wore that the other wore too, is the latest style of their generation. Unique style of clothes is highly recommended if you don't want to be experience what I have experienced.

True! I used to print my own shirts when I was still in college. But since I am too busy now I dont get to do that. I might try to do that for my kids if I got the time :)

Well I could totally relate to this. It happens to me a lot and it's kind of embarrassing. I don't like people to compare who looks better in the cloth.. tsk,tsk.. Try buying ukay ukay... It's seldom to find duplicates in ukay ukay.

You got a point, ukay ukay is original clothing and very rare cause most items are imported. But I don't like the smell and I rarely buy a clothes at ukay ukay, only those looks very much attractive to me.

Haha, I have been put in this situation before. It was weird though - I had this dress shirt - and I saw my BOSS wearing it one day - who is like 20 years older than me! It wasn't even like an old lady shirt - she was just trying to look young, I decided..Needless to say I got rid of that shirt ASAP... lmao

Oh men that's so disgusting, lol. I can't imagine sharing clothes with my boss, I'd probably get rid of that clothes and wear another one if I have the time.

That happens to me a lot. I buy my clothes at a lot of the big box stores because they are so inexpensive. I'm also overweight so the selection for bigger girls is smaller than other clothes. Many times at school I see other bigger girls wearing the same clothes I have. I don't really mind because I just figure that we both have good taste if we picked out the same clothes. One thing my Aunt taught me is that you should never point out to the person that you are wearing the same clothes or that you have that exact shirt at home or something, because many people do get offended that someone else has their clothes as well and it feels cheap to them. I don't mind because I know that I don't have a lot of money and lots of people are in the same boat as me. Short of going to a personal fashion designer for my clothes it's pretty much impossible to make sure that no two people wear the same thing.

Having the same clothes is given but definitely not in the same place and time. It's really funny but at the same time awkward if you bump in that person and many people saw that you share the exact clothing. It will looks like your twin or a uniform.

What a coincidence! Yes it happened to me too, but just one day..i found the gal wearing same as my dress, exactly same colour. We just shared glances and a smile on our face. But thats a cute coincidence, to see a person who had same thought of us on that day in the dressing sense.

It is fun if your clothes is pretty expensive or branded, but if it is cheap then its awkward.

We can't avoid that especially when we buy on the same mall. and manufacturers manufacture clothes in the same time the only difference is the sizes

That has happened to me especially when I go out to the club, parties or mall. Its ironic but when you shop in the same places this is what u get. The same stuff! lol The best thing is to shop out of town lol

I agree but too expensive if you're an ordinary girl but that is a better idea than having the same clothes people wear at the same time.

i try not to buy in malls cause a lot of people buy from here too. my t-shirts are unique because i designed all of them. i mean, i buy the shirt itself, then bring it to a shop that makes personalized t-shirt designs and that's it. for blouses, i try to buy not the cheapest at malls because it has the highest possibility that you might be sharing it with another person.

That's cool, I also wanted to design my own shirt but don't have time and budget. I had my white tee silkscreen by my bf and the design is my own picture (in black ink) that was edited at photoshop application at FB.

Maybe if i were on your shoes i might be offended too, seeing others wearing the same as mine. The best way i think for you to do is, do not buy blouse, dress under direct selling company as far as i know some boutique have only one pair of color, sometimes designs so better go there.

Oh yes, thanks for reminding me that, definitely I've seen a lot of people wearing clothes from direct selling. I only bought those safe clothes from direct selling but now, I don't do it anymore.

Well, i remember one time during college days. I have this blouse which is really good on me because of the color and I am fair. My friend and I was in a shopping mall looking for something when suddenly, there is this girl wearing the same blouse like mine who passed by infront of us. My friend and I looked each other and began laughing. And then, my friend said, "That girl has a good taste, but, she doesn't know how to carry that blouse on her"...Then we again laughed. Since then, I never wore that blouse again.

This never happens with me.
Maybe because like what you've said, shop and buy from limited stores where designs and colors are not that much for each item.
Or maybe because most of my dress/clothes are from abroad,my mom buy my clothes so i seldom buy clothes here in my locality.
But,that's really funny huh, seeing the same dress with the same girl hehehe.

Hi dear,
Sometime it happens. Eg., if we go to a ready made shop, we can see the same pattern and same dress material with different sizes like 24-26-28-30 etc. We select the same with a measurement of 26 and someone else may suit and like the 30 sized one. Of couse, some if the seller sells about 50 pieces of the same material, the chances of meeting such people around also is normal.
Even I have seen same situations while I am travelling in the train. I have also noticed some time that the same dress materials are used by other people also. But for you people, it will be more visible as the the dress may be of colourful and patterns would be be easily understandable.
But it is fun that you can also presume how you will look like the same is wear by others.
Regards,
Thank-s

In our country if we found out that we have the same clothes we usually laugh at it, when you are in a group, your friends will definitely annoy you. It's a major awkward if you both are in the same place and time. It's a disaster specially with celebrities or popular people. (thank God I am an ordinary one) haha!

Many people will embarrass when they find someone who wear the same shirt as them.
For me, I never bother about it because I will just treat those shirts as uniform.
Moreover, a large factory will not just product one shirt per design only.
Similar to a white long sleeve for man, we can find so many people are wearing the same at the same time. They can be from the similar brand or different brands.
But I don't think they are embarrass to meet each other too.
Be matured in treating this matter.
There isn't anything for us to embarrass.

Similarly white long sleeve or shirt is normal, but if the clothes are very identical to the design/prints down to the color, its pretty disgusting and awkward.

Sometimes we cannot avoid meeting someone who has the same clothes with us because clothes are made in mass production. Even the limited ones are produced in certain numbers. However I have not experienced what you have experience so far. I have seen other women wearing the same dress as mine but it happens only after several months or even a year when I'm not wearing such dress anymore.

That's the saddest part, we cannot avoid it cause they were made in mass production. Although I like the dress, but when I see that clothes in many stores and streets, i don't buy it. For sure there are many people wearing it.
