Second IUI Treatment..time to check pregnancy?!

My sister is undergoing IUI treament. Its 18days now after the IUI treatment. Can she take the pregnancy test at home?. She is so tensed up and worried if she could get pregnant by this time. My second sister got pregnant last year after some struggle. Hoping my younger sister will get confirmed this week. Praying god that her worries and longing for a baby be gifted!

Good Luck!
She should be able to take a test a home because it only takes 14 days to implant. When has the dr scheduled her to take a test. A blood test is best to tell if there is a pregnancy.
I would not want her to take a home test and get a false negative and be crushed just to find out later that the IUI did work.

Hi True, but she is longing so much that she wanted to know out of her curiosity. Doctor has asked to do a pregnancy test at home in 3 weeks and come back on the third week of the IUI. So its almost 18 days now, so she wanted to take up test. But as you say, blood test is best to confirm. I would update you next week for sure. And thank you for your kind words and suggestion! Its gives me much hope!!!

Hi pjnjclyn, she got confirmed for pregnancy and this is great day for her worries and all our prayers! Am so happy to share this with you. Its a happy news through her long struggle for a baby dust.

I also hope she can be confirmed this week because it sounds like the entire family will fill the child with lots of love. I will say a prayer dear and hope that her wishes come true.
