plastic trash everywhere,is the campaign for its reduction really helps.

I think to some extent, these campaigns help raise public awareness so people may be aware that they should help care for their environment. I think there are also ordinances about having no plastic campaigns in some municipalities. It is a good step however can they really implement them? There is also this certain barangay where garbage are turned into bricks and provided income for that barangay. I think the government should look into this program. It would really reduced a great number of garbage waste. No matter how good the government program on waste management is, if the people won't cooperate, I think any good program will not succeed. Discipline and cooperation counts a lot. Change should start within ourselves.

Outside my home I have a recycling box: a green one for card, paper, tins, glass and plastic. I also have got a brown box for food scraps to be composted. I have a small one of those in my kitchen. Mainly it gets vegetable peelings and slices of bread. I have a black bin for non-recyclables. I don't get plastic bags at the check out. I use my own shopping nags and these are made out of hemp. When I have rubbish if I am out of doors I put it in the garbage bin or I take it home with me. I hate to see rubbish on the ground in places. I went to a place described by a French traveler as Rubbish on Sea. These locals and tourists should put their rubbish in a bin and not harm the environment. Many sea animals are hurt by garbage in the ocean. Animals on the land can also be hurt or killed. If a dolphin swallows a plastic bag it will kill him or her. If a swan gets six pack around his or her feet he or she will be in much pain.

I have purchased bags from stores to use for shopping.And most of the plastic bags don't really hold as much as 1 of the purchased bags.And they are so much easier to carry.And can be used for other things.My granddaughters use the bags all the time.Depending on label is on it,they have used them for book bags.They make great bags for going to the library.I try not to use the plastic no more than I have to.

i'm pro nature therefore i'm willing to use paper bags instead of plastic bags cause according to the study papers and cartons can easily be recycled or decomposed than a plastic.... when i go to the grocery i always used this bag the mall offer to decrease the usage of plastic bags, you can help the nature plus you can earn extra points using those provided bags
