in our family tree both of our grand grand parents up to my parents carry these allergic reactions to bee sting, and sea foods... recently i violated the rules of getting rid of crabs but i was tempted so i ate just a little.. eventually my left eye started to swell like i had been punch by a boxer...:-) i'm afraid i would experience something like dyspnea( difficulty of breathing) and could progress to anaphylactic shock.. that may lead to death in severe cases. i learned that because of the bodies exposure and reaction to allergens that entered the body, our blood vessels starts to swell. and because our bronchiols are small and is filled with blood vessels when it swells there is difficulty of breathing and when not given prompt medications to counter act its effect.... it may lead to death.... i swear i wont eat crab meat.. promise

I am also allergic to pollens and dust mites and similar things. Thank you for your information about anaphylactic shock because I suffer from severe asthma at the onset of the spring season (the pollen allergy season)
It is true that sometimes at night it is so difficult to breath and it is painful. I have heard of people dying from anaphylactic shock. These allergies should always be given proper medical care.
