I wonder how can we work less but earn the same income. I really need this solution for my present job eats almost all of my time and consume my body condition too. I feel like living only in one world. Job's world. And this is pretty pathetic. This has been going on for about seven months. Thinking about getting another job, but what I really need is to be independent like starting my own business. But again, I can't find the necessary time to really make it. Have you ever experience this or thought about such thing?

I did experience it once. I work in a Sales Department of a 4-star hotel. When the hotel was empty - we have to work harder to fill it but when the hotel was full - we still have to work as Manager in charge to smooth the operation. Practically I only had one day off every month, that with me working till late at night and very early in the morning to catch up. After around 4 years, I just quit! I did not have a job potential at the time, I just quit.
A month after I quit, I got a secretarial job with no target oriented works, and I was quite happy with it that I now looks only for secretarial job or PA.

A Superman is able to do anything easily (just joking)
Coming to the topic, do less work and get good income then you have to get a government job, where you don’t need to do much work but the package will be great. In private sector, they expect hard work and if you want a higher income then you have to work hard for it. I don’t have any idea what work you are doing at present, but I agree, you may get tired by working extra hours. Doing own business is also a better option where you will be your boss but again you have to work hard for achieving the targets which means increasing responsibility.

Ha..Ha.. You're somewhat right. In the country where I domicile The government workers are kinda lazy and they don't really have much work. Comes a statement "eating blind salary".

Well you can become a boss. If you are good enough you can own a business or be a team manager of something. Managers dont do that much because you order the people to do the work for you. You manage the simple things. Starting a business can make a lot of money but the only problem is that it must be successful. You can start a business little by little by planning out what you are going to do and how are you going to do it. I hope to get a job one day where it will be easy, and that I would be ordering people around instead of me getting ordered around.

We should begin searching for opportunity I guess. Until now I still don't know the best business opportunity for my current situation, condition, and circumstances. I believe there must be some business I can do right now to make money.

Interesting kwylima. Very good and brave action if we can, say, work for 5 years, work hard. And then we can retire young. May God Almighty help me.

hi supermanalive,
I'm tired of this job and current life situation, i want to get a new job,but i have not a idea what the new one is. I envy those who is a freelancer, more spare time, enjoy the free feeling, however, it needs related ability, a writer, a photographer or an artist, almost all of the free job i have never been involved in. I want to find my way.

Freelance job. It is somewhat uncommon in my society. That's a good idea. I think if anyhow I get fired anytime in the future, I will definitely do some freelance job to pay bills.

I share your delima SupermanAlive, I worked almost 12 hours a day and on graveyard shift. I have limited time with my family. That's why I keep on searching for a job on line where I can work at home and will earn more.

If you wanna start your own business, plan your way through it first. This is one step almost all people look over. When I had my computer shop ready I didn't think about how it would go through. I had it well furnished and got the place all tidied up. What I failed to notice is that later on the expenses would be much greater than the income so I had some of the airconditioning removed but this caused less customers because they loved the air conditioning system the first time around. If I realized that earlier on, I should have not doubled up on the air conditioning. Customers might have familiarized themselves on the place without the air conditioning the first time around. This is just an example. You have to plan it and see the pitfalls before they happen. Don't quit your job just yet, if you ask me. Just think that you're lucky you have a job. While working and probably saving up on your new business, plan on it as well for you to have a good grasp at what you're getting yourself into.

Working less with same income will not be easy these days. See even if you open your own business you are going to have to work perhaps a lot more then you currently are because it will take a great deal to get it well known and fruitful. Starting a business will take a lot of owner manpower to market if anything. In the beginning you will be spending more then you are going to gain. It is not until later that you can actually take a breath and relax that things are running smooth.
Starting a business and completely let others run for you will be a big mistake. So as the responder stated above best to plan out as much as you can while you are still working then not working at all and not fully get your business up and running and maintaining it.
Perhaps looking for another job quietly where you can earn more and work less would be advisable. If you have vacation or sick time of plan it wisely so you can search for the job. But keep it under wraps because you do not want your boss to get wind and loose the job in total.
Best of luck in which route you take.

We all think and want the same thing: more money with less work. This is how being your own boss appeared. The best solution to earn more and to work less is to have your own business and after you grow it up then you can just relax, not much, but you can enjoy more money and more free time.

Yes, I`ve felt that. Work really feels like that becomes your life. And everything else falls short. I guess you really have to love your job to not mind the time consumption.

If you want to work less ,at the same time you want more income, firstly you'd better do yourself business.if you are a clerk in a office ,that's thinking is not real.only start your own business, you can let other people do what you don't want to do.So give yourself a stage goal, then to do it as follow it
