I'm looking for a carrier for my baby that I would like to use when traveling with my baby alone on a flight in the summer. I have a infantino one but I found that very uncomfortable so there is no way I will use that kind of carrier for flying with him. I have seen some mom uses something like a towel or blanket and it seems it is comfortable for the moms and the babies, I wonder what it is... Do you have any idea?

The slings were recalled because of the head position of the child. The chin gets completely tucked into the body and it was causing kids to stop breathing. I have a snugli brand soft carrier that can be used in the front or back and I really like. It is pretty comfortable, it supports the child firmly, and does not dig in at any spots on my body when I have it adjusted.

I think is just a baby sling, isn´t it?, the browser shows a lot of sites with them... they are very used here at my country. They have been used since ever. It was always used by poor people. But the slings, is prooven, make the baby feel comfortable, because they are in direct touch with mom´s body, in a very natural position. Hope this is what you are looking for! Blessings!... Dainy

Oh, I think that any problem with the slings and falling babies is that you should be instructed on how to grab the sling correctly. Making a navy knot. I don´t know. I really don´t know how. I wish I could help you more =( Blessings! ... Dainy

I think we shuold buy those carries with a brand that has better reputation, I don't just buy a random brand and we still should be careful when carrying the baby in those, I usually still kind of support it with my arms just in case.

depends on how old your child is.. i love the ergo or mei tai for an older child. or you could get a wrap, like a hug-a-bub or a woven wrap. the type of sling that you have are no good for babies neither are the baby bjorn type ones they do not support baby at all. of you could get a ring sling they are easy to use and quick to put on and take off. but it depends on your child and you. if you dont like having all the weight on one shoulder then you are best to go for a wrap or a structured carrier like the ergo or the mei tai. i hope you can choose the right carrier for you and your baby
