It seems like all the results of 2012 are happening.. What do you think?

Most of the stuff that I have looked up on 2012 and the world ending are starting to happen. Such as magnetic poles shifting.. Volcano's are starting to act up again, and just stuff like that. Also if you know of any other specific events that were to happen leading to the world ending, please share! Do you believe in 2012?

These years that are created for world ending are all made up to market things. THere was that movie, and t-shirts and other memorabilia on websites as well that are set up by random people who want money. And if people really believe the world will end they will buy lots of luxuries with the money they won't need if they die.

just wait there all gonna wait til the last day and then say, "We need to actually enjoy our lives while we have them." Huge marketing, but if not the enjoyment of a possible last day on earth is still a great thing. And we do elect leaders so we can market them.

Maybe the marketing happened because of it ending? We don't have Obama as a president just to get a T shirt of him, or a coffee mug.

And maybe some people are spending their money on luxury items. Its only march, so they still got several months before the world is expected to end.

Oh, hell no, I don't believe in that 2012 nonsense. Natural disasters have been happening for thousands of millenniums and the world has survived thus far. How do you think the topography of earth was formed and shaped? I'd put my money on man ending the world before Mother Nature does.

Yep, that's why I'd put my money on man. And speaking of radiation disasters, let's not forget Three Mile Island in 1979 or Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945.

Exactly.. could all this radiation somehow wipe out the people? I don't think the world will end, I just think life on it will.

Maybe man is ending the world? The radiation that came from japan is leaking all around the world. It's already in the ocean and who knows what type of stuff it will do. Plus pollution and what not.

Tell you the truth I don't...for 2000 everybody said a lot bad things and it made me so scared...but know I dont care anymore. All the bad things that are happening are from many years ago it is just getting worse year after year. i pray everyday for better days...when people would respect other people!

well yeah, y2k was kinda a lame thing.. but with 2012 they actually have scientific reasoning for it.

scientific reasoning? I fail to see the science. It s based of the fact that the mayans didn't bother to write down every single year til infinite in their calendar. Y2k had the slightest bit of sense but this 2012 thing doesn't

I'm not too familiar with y2k, but didn't it have to do with computers failing? And for 2012 the world is supposed to end. And lately there has been some things happening. The earthquake in japan that, from what I have heard, stopped the earths rotation for one second, put the poles off axis, and a couple similar things. And I agree with you, I think the Mayans just got bored with it.
