The coalition started a new wave of financing a costly war where most of the oil come from. Billions will be appropriated to reach their goal. Would they have rather thought of allotting funds to support new discoveries such as improving the technology on how to burn water? improve the solar or electric car long before the Libyan issue?

Definitely. Instead of funding war, I really think that they should be considering another way to make energy. I mean, even if they can get the oil, how long will it last? It's not going to last forever you know. Alternative energy from renewable resources should be developed before the oil runs out and we end up living in the darkness. I really like your thought anyway.

I don't mean them to leave the oppressed people alone, for democracy and humanitarian reasons, yes, whatever it takes. See what's going on in my country? Because of lack of the government's support for it's inventors, not a few unique designs are rather sold in other countries and patented out of it's borders.

I really think that the allies are not trying to make Khadafi descent from the throne, they're trying to get the oil. It's an oil war.

I do not think that the US is starting another war. It is mostly European countries warning Libya not to kill their own people. The US just shows their support.- We are financially not able to start another war at this moment.- And yes, we should do more for our own people some of which are just as bad of as people are in third world countries.-
