The one who holds your hand and supports you for all the good things you do everytime is your friend...The one who maintains such relation with you is your friend... You can always fetch a friend in your environment... choosing best friends can change your life too....

Well i think it depends on the person. People might call friendship as merely helping each other or being so close to each other. Some may call friendship as bond or mutual connection between two or more individuals.

Friendship is actually too complicated to be defined of, but nevertheless I will try my best to define that from my perspective...Friendship for me is the relation which connects you with someone else with respect to certain niches...Say, if you and your father likes football, then both of you are friends...If your dog and you can share and understand each other, both of you are friends... Friends are the person that can share our happiness and can offer their shoulder to cry on...
