the sites I am a member of, haven't asked for personal information. If I were to join anything that asked for my persona information, I just wouldn't give it, as I don't feel it is their business to be asking for it. Now, there is one site that I do that sends me checks in the mail, so there I had to give my address to get them. I am like you, in the fact, I don't like giving out my personal information, as it can be used for identity theft, which is also something that we all have to be aware of. the only site that you can put you real information is paypal if you wants to verified your account with a bank account, but in other sites you can put nicknames.

You can choose not to give out your personal number and address. you can put in a nickname or a fake number. but don't do that if you plan to be an affiliate marketer because some of them sends check to your house. i joined a great site and im earning a good sum of money without them asking for my personal number and address.
