For me, the best comfort food is macaroni and cheese. I can eat it just about anywhere and anytime. It definitely makes my day when I am hungry, bored, sad or its the most easiest but yummiest comfort food for me. I usually buy the ones that are the easiest to heat and it still tastes like I cooked it in the oven. Its hot and cheesy makes me relax and enjoy whatever I am doing.

If I'm even a little bit hungry, I want some carbs, something starchy like potatoes or pasta. Otherwise, it is ice cream, the light kind, not the kind that leaves a greasy taste in my mouth.

That one's a toss-up between pasta with lots of margarine and cheese or chocolate depending on what's botherin' at the time..Enjoy!

A chocolate covered candy bar with any kind of nuts in it, peanuts, almonds, cashews, always makes me feel better and helps lift the mood , a second alternative would be ice cream or an ice cream sundae cone ( commonly referred to an ice cream drumstick ).

Whenever i feel down i eat chocolates. It always give me a feeling of contentment every time I munch on every bar of Hershey's chocolate or anything which has a chocolate flavor on it. My friends would always tease me because they know that I'm not in my usual self.

i have rarely found comfort in chocolates, except if the chocolate is dark with mint. =) he he i love dark chocolates because it is not too sweet. But i think that is true, some chocolates would really be making one feel so high and happy about himself/herself. =) he he

There are confort foods that I don´t keep at home because they don´t last long here. One of them is chocolate. But in wintwer, when the rain is pouring and I feel gray all over, I like a mug of homemade chicken broth while I see a dumb TV show in my bed.

haha yeah when there are comfort foods, ours is mostly chips and nachos... our family just is addicted to chips and everything that is similar to it. =) Ha, that is nice to have when you are cold and you will sip a nice cup of coffee, soup or chocolate.

Oh hi there, over time i do think that fruits have been really proven to have some effects in our moods not only the physical help it can give us like give energy and so on... i have not heard about bananas helping us to boost the mood, but then i might try and see if it actually is something like this when you take in banana. :D
I love fruits myself, but i love fruits that are crunchy when you take a bite, apples, pears, melons, and watermelons, these are what i would typically have. i love mangoes too if they are really sweet. =) hehe
