Is it for shopping or for selling? How do you find the community and share some experience please.
I am a member since 2008 and I am particularly a buyer. So far, I have never encountered bad stuffs from purchasing. I find most of the unique stuffs cheap and sellers have been so far honest with me. I particularly love the clothes and shoes... and Beauty products too. I trust the power seller's, they always give me good transactions. What about you? :)

I love eBay. I've been using it for around 6 years now and I've found many stuff I like. I even bought something the other day. I feel secure when shopping through eBay because of the feedback/ratings system. Also, the eBay Buyer Protection is pretty neat because if a seller screws up real bad, eBay will refund the buyer full payment plus shipping costs. It's very convenient.

@EnslinPorter Yeah. I experience that quite often. That's the only thing you can do. You are the seller, you need revenue, so you have to be patient. There will be buyers like that.

@jvincent_129 It's really so annoying because there's unbelievably too many of them. In the late '90s or early 2000s, there were eauctions and other platforms where buyers/sellers were very much easy to deal with. I haven't got a clue why it is the way it is now. ^.^' I guess maybe because there's no consequence for their actions.
Before, sellers on eBay can leave negative feedback to buyers. But now, sellers are not allowed to give negative feedback or neutral feedback even (since some sellers threaten to give negative feedback on certain occasions). On the other hand, buyers can leave sellers neutral/negative feedback even if the buyers are at fault like not reading descriptions causing product compatibility problems (media with region-coding, etc.) or getting a different version of what they expected.
I only sell items that I no longer use and take up space. I don't need to sell on eBay as it's not my bread and butter. There are other sellers though that it's their business and main source of income so they have to really deal with everything and be as patient as possible.

I have both bought and sold on ebay. They do have some good deals; but, I also check some items on amazon - sometimes you can get better deals there.

Love it. I use it for both buying and selling.
Wish they'd cut down on insertion fees(and picture fees), and just had the final 10% fee instead, though.

I love ebay.It is usually for both selling and shopping, but I'm a buyer. You can find really everything there on a very good price.Once I have tried to sell but my item didn't sell :( so I remained just a buyer.By the way I'm expecting for an item from China and to be honest I'm a bit frightened, because of the radiation spread on that part of the world.
