I just heard that Elizabeth Taylor died today. Wow What a star, what a actress, what a woman. A child star that made it through to be a fine actress. In real life , she made it through marriage after marriage and illness after illness. She was a survivor who put her fame to good use in later life by supporting AIDS research. We can't count how many people are Still alive because of her foundation. As for her film work, there are so many great films that stars Elizabeth. My favorite she isn't glamorous nor even a nice person, it is Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? She gained weigh to play this role and had them make her look Older than she really was. A brilliant performance. She won her second Oscar for it.My other fave She Hated. It is Butterfield 8, she first Oscar winning performance! In this film she Was A knockout but the Character she didn't like I was told. And then there is Giant, a great Epic! And Cleopatra, another Great Epic! There are so many great films with her in them. What A life, What a talent! What is your favorite Elizabeth Taylor film and why?

Personally this is a woman to be missed for the ages. Anyone who did not like her as an Actress and some of the other things she stood for does not really have any respect for a lot of things. I may not have always agreed with her morals, but when it came to acting and speaking she was a joy to watch and listen too. I am hoping that one of the Cable channels decides to do a tribute to her soon and gives people a chance to watch some of her classics once again.

One of my favourite film with Elizabeth Taylor in it was National Velvet. She was quite young then. I believe Mickey Rooney was also in it. I think I liked her earlier films the best - Father of the Bride, Little Women. Although it is sad she has gone she had been suffering alot in her later years so at least she is free of pain.

I learned this news via the net today. So therefore I see more of her photos today. I just realized that she was so beautiful and she was a legend. Actually I haven't watched many of her movies. But her movie Cleopatra is impressive for me. This is a famous old movie here and I think many Chinese audiences have watched it.
I love China

There are few Holliwood stars that can be compared to Elizabeth Taylor as she was not only a wonderful actress in Holliwood´s golden age, but also a legend from the start.
I saw her first as Amy in Little Women and saw her later turn into a great actress in spite of her awesome beauty. She did not rely in her looks but wanted to be more and got there. The movie I like best is Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf for those reasons.
When I was a kid, I would follow eagerly her different true life love stories until she married Richard Burton who was the love of her life.
Elizabeth Taylor, as a legent, will never die.

Elizabeth Taylor so sad to hear this. Her Cleopatra is my favorite ever. She is a strong lady with talented attitude and helping nature. Though she is not with us, but her name and fame will be in history for ever and ever.

Elizabeth Taylor was before my time, so I didn't know too much about her. I've actually just learned a lot about her life today from watching the news and talk shows as "the view." She was a beautiful lady, made history and i'm sure she will be missed! R.I.P Elizabeth Taylor.
