why cant we forget our first love?

I heard that girls cannot forget her first love, but for men? I think they will easily forget their first love :) time will help you, find someone else, go with your friends, do your activities, or go back to her :)

It is definitely not only happening to you.Many people can't forget their first love.For me,it even sounds more stupid.It was puppy love for me,back in primary school.Sometimes I do wonder if I really know what love is back then.But so far,he is the only one that I can't get over with.I felt painful when he got hurt and angry when others were talking at his back.Sometimes I think I have forgotten him completely.But then there I was,dreaming about him again. It won't be easy for you to get over.Time will heal your wounds and you will learn how to move on.Someday you will find the one that is suitable for you and then your first love will gradually fade out of your mind. Any love is never truly forgotten. Whether it is first or third I suppose we still can remember. I believe we can get over them but have some recollection and memory of them. A new love usually replaces the feeling of not being able to forget and or course time and keeping busy.

I am not sure if first love might be the same with first crush of what we call in our younger days as puppy love. If it is the same then,i can say,i can't forget the person,but the feeling is gone already.

Simple because it's first love and that's why! I too had a hard time forgetting my first love. It took me ages to forget her. But since she was the first girl who has been in my mind and my heart for a while i find it hard to forget her. She has taken a piece of my heart with her. Usually no one forgets if i am right. oh well its just normal to feel that way especially she's your first love but if ever it continues along the way then you have to think over for it. It might be you still love her or i don't know. Maybe there are just memories that you might not able to forget.
