I bought a T510 one year ago from Lenovo USA, cost 1200 dollars. At that time, the price of the same laptop in China was over 15000 yuan, two times of the one I bought from the US.
I wonder the reason of different price of the same products sold in different area.
My friend are going to buy a laptop in three months, what's your guys' advice? We prefer a product from Lenovo.

I personally think the average products quality in USA better than in china ,thinkpad have industry compititor hp Sony apple and so on , well it is only possible to occupy Market thorugh low price .
But in china there is expensive tax for import product kind of protect measure for demostic industry ,this make oversea product have nomchce but to increase price inorder to make money ,this phenomena creat a space for thinkpad Chinese leader brand make quick money .
Im not sure about it ,but it is definitely have something to do with tax policies.

That's what I prefer. Lenovo is took over IBM. The one I have, the one I'm using now, which I love is the IBM t42. It has XP, 40gb hard drive. I just got it from e-bay for $145.00, free shipping. There's no way I could afford a new one
