Wow thats an big 100 for this man! Amazing shots and recently he had critics that he is aged and not performing well. But in a crucial game like this, he rocked with his shots and can hear the sound on the bat when he hit those smashes

Yes great innings from a great man reserved his best for the crucial match. That is the hallmark of a great cricketer. Although to Ricky's standard and compared with his innings against the same opponents 8 years back in'03 world cup finals, the innings was subdued but that was understandable considering the fact that the match was a quarter final of world cup and he could not trust his team mates to follow as he could have done a few years back. Anyway salute to the great man for wonderful performance in a crunch match.

You are right msdivkar. Ricky is not the one to be blamed, What seems to me is the team is not stronger as it was with the old players and Rickys standard, its quite sad to see the team gone down now. Ausees were dominating the World cup so far and its shocking for the country to see them quit half the way!

Yeah, man. That was class. Ponting came up at the most critical time. Thats where great players are really great.
Even though India have not yet started their batting, I am anticipating something similar, or even better from Sachin. Go India Go!!

True, Ponting has lot of critics now and many wanted him to leave. But he has stated he would continue to lead the Ausees team. A confident man! But its unfortunate for them out of World cup!
