Hi humbleme,
I agree to your point. The natural course of the wind ( the natural one ) can not be changed though we can adjust the sail so that the strong wind does not cause much damage to us.
This is an allegory that says incidents, events, and everything is predestined. We can not change them but we have our free will with the help of which we can divert the dangerous situation through our will power.
In the novel 'Robinson Crusoe' the protagonist by chance was thrown at the sea side after the ship wreck. No one save him was alive. And in that lonely island where no human habitation was there Crusoe remained alive for twenty eight years before he was taken away from the place.
If Robinson had lost all hopes of life he would go go mad and would die there only but hos will power helped him change his fate and therefore could be rescued from there.

The wind is like our life. Living in this earth is like sailing and we choose what island we want to go if it is an island where there are many golds treasures or an island full of scary animals we choose by adjusting our sails. Same thing in life we choose If we want to be happy in our life or get miserable. Our destiny depends on what we choose.:)
