Mourinho had said that being the manager of Real Madrid is his toughest job and he will like to return to the Premier League. Let's take a look at the possible destination.
Arsenal
After his tussle with Wenger and in the process, makes the fans dislike him. Beside, I don't think the Arsenal board will provide him with the funding to build his team.
Chelsea
His departure had to do with club owner Roman Abramovic. As long as Roman is there, no way he will return
Liverpool
Look possible during the Roy Hodgson days. But since Kop firm Kenny Dalglish took over, he had turn the club around. The new owner looks set to offer Kenny a full time position.
Man City
Likely destination. With the Sheikh as the owner, there will be limitless funds to rebuild. Mancini tried his best but it is not brining the results that the owner will demand, especially after the amount of money spent.
Man Utd
Mourinho had openly declared his admiration for the red devils. But his stumbling block is Sir Alex Ferguson. As long as he does not retire, there is no way the board will sack him. So depending on the timing
Tottenham
Likely Sir Alex, Harry Redknapp had done a brilliant job at Spurs. Unless he quits to take over the national team, David Levy is not going to give him the boot.
So, my guess, either of the Manchester clubs.

He's far better than Pep Guardiola he's achieved much more as a manager winning the champions league with Porto Guardiola has had some major success as Barcelona but ultimately given the team he inherited how could he fail . Guardiola has had everything handed to him on a plate money, the team and the the job of one of the biggest teams in the world .
Yes Guardiola has the better of him currently but Real Madrid have been a failing club in the league for a few years with very few managing to achive success with them and their many ego players.

I might see Mourinho going back to Chelsea as well. But maybe he has a desire to take over a "weaker team" and bring it to the top, as he did with Chelsea. And maybe he will go back to Inter, because he always said that he remained a true fan of them. We will have to wait and see, maybe he will be a long time Real coach.

He'll be off to United unfortunately I fear . At Chelsea I can't see him going there Mourhinho and Abramovich both have big opinions and I do believe they'd only fall out once again which makes such a move less likely .
I don't think he'll go for a smaller team it wouldn't be his nature to take a smaller team to the top even Chelsea who weren't exactly a small team. They had failed to win the league in a number of years but so have Liverpool, they also had some success before him just not as much as the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United but now you can look at Arsenal who have failed to win anything for a number of years doesn't make them a small team neither .
I think he'll see out his Real Madrid contract and possibly longer and just bide his team until Fergie retires providing he doesn't get the sack come the end of the season.

I think he is secretly eyeing a spot in the Man U manager's seat. I think it has been his long cherished dream to take over from Sir Alex at Old Trafford. Till the seat gets vacated he is biding him time elsewhere. I also feel that he feels that he has unfinished business in EPL after being dumped by Chelsea after one bad set of results.
Cheers!

Manchester United is the only destination I see for Mourinho he will want the history ig United behind him with the board also more willing to give their managers a prolonged time to succeed just like they did with Fergie.
Mourinho doesn't need loads of money to suceed though, yes he had a lot of money given to him at Chelsea,Inter and now Real Madrid but your forgetting he suceeded at Porto with far less money than at the likes of such clubs he's been at in recent times. With any big team though he will have funds to spend even at Arsenal Wenger has quite a few millions to spend he just chooses not to spend his budget and prefers to picking out youth prospects .
Mourhino will be in Spain until Fergie retires I think which could be quite soon I do think Fergie might lean towards retiring at the end of the season if he claims the historic number of league titles or maybe next year with the prospect of increasing the number of titles but I do think come two or three years and Fergie will retire. Which will be the time for Mourhinho although I myself hope he doesn't manage United I'm quite fond of United playing decent football and winning and don't want him to apply a simple winning formula without any decent football being played .
In relation to each chairman not giving their managers the boot well footballs a fickle sport remember and things can change quite quickly maybe not for Wenger and Fergie but the other clubs well you just have to count the number of managers they've hired/sacked over the last couple of years .

I think that the most likely destination for Jose Mourinho is Manchester City:they have a lot of money and they can bring him any player he wants, and I think Mancini won't continue with them ecause he didn't manage to obtain the expected results.I also think that Mourinho may change his mind and stay in Madrid if he manages to win at least a trophy this season, and I don't think Mourinho is the type of person who spends only one season at the club.He certainly wants to make Real Madrid the best team in the world again and he still has some work to do there,so I think he won't be back to England so soon.

I don't think he's the best replacement for Fergie ultimately he is most likely to succeed at United but I hope he doesn't go there as I like United playing semi attractive football and still winning with Mourihno he'd be too focussed on winning rather than playing a good style of football . I think Martin O'Neill is perfect fas Fergies replacement he knows how to really motivate a side and can pick up good players without paying a hefty sum of money .
