The future of screen: AMOLED, SLCD

there are two kinds of screen using widely in smart phone: AMOLED and SLCD. what the future are they? which one is more energy saving? do you know other screen better than AMOLED and SLCD? what do you think of them? share your point with me?

Hello there, I haven't heard about SLCD though, i have heard about AMOLED and OLED. Then their is this latest Super AMOLED. So i am guessing the latest one is best by far now.

thankyou voldrox, I'm also heard about OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode), which is using organic material. it is the most energy saving screen, for it light itself when current flows. it will be the next generation screen.

in my opinion the future of screens are fucntionalities than simple resolution so probably an hd solution will be for default but also 3d steroscopic(glass-free) for 3d!!
