Being a medical transcriptioniost. Can you give me tips

I have searched over the net and found out the most in demand jobs today are call center agent and medical transcriptionist. Before I am interested to become a call center agent but because of a lot researches I have done from the net and even from people I have known, I realized I was more qualified to become medical transcriptionist that being a call center agent I finished an allied course. Actually I applied for that position thru online job posting but my problem I was afraid to face the interview and exam at this time because I know I would have to compete those already have job experience and also those already have undergone MT training. I think I would be more confident if I would fist undergo training class for MT. I just want to ask if anyone of you have know about MT training school that is affordable please share about the information you know. Do you think is it right decision for me to undergo training first before going to the interview and exam? For anyone here who have experience as an Medical transcriptionist can you please share your experience before.
