Hotel near to Tondo or Moriones

A friend of mine will be going to Manila to attend a Party in Tondo to be exact in Moriones. The problem is that I haven't seen any hotel near to Tondo or Moriones. I wonder if you could help we look for a hotel or motel near to Moriones, Tondo.

You can try Manila Grand Opera Hotel although it is 2.0 km from tondo. It is located in Sta. Cruz, Manila and near to LRT station. That's the only hotel I think is nearer to tondo. You can check the internet for the map. I hope this help.

Tondo has a bad reputation of being a tough neighborhood before, but nowadays I think it mellowed down a bit. But it is still not advisable to visit the place during late evenings especially if you dont know anybody living there. Because of the reason I just mentioned, it is not surprising why rarely there are hotels you can find near the place. I suggest you look in Sta. Cruz or Binondo area.

Have no idea, I am living in Papua New Guinea and not in Phillipians.
