Oh gosh! I don't like any of them and I wish they were banned inside towns and cities. They take up too much space in the car parks and many of the roads are not wide eough for them. If another car is coming in the opposite direction then that's it, a traffic jam and arriving late at your destination
Are you considering to have one too?

Surely the running costs are higher than those of a smaller car?
My car is indeed a small one and it is fine as òlong as it gets me from A to B and unless I had a large family or neede space for transporting things, then I would never ever consider a larger car - and never even then would it be a suv

Perhaps you are from europe! :) if i would buy a car in the philippines i'd probably just get a small reliable one. the traffic there is terrible and the 2 lane road normally becomes 4 lanes so a small one is advisable. Fuel consumption of a small vehicle is relatively low translating to lower gas expense. But here in doha, an suv is preferrable. Fuel cost is relatively low, the roads are relatively wider and your risk of being bullied around by bigger cars is quite high.

We are considering to have one. Unlike in your place, in here, the bigger you have the better. In case of accidents, you'll have better chances of survival. Land cruisers and big suvs are the favorites of most locals here. So if you have a little car, you might just end up being bullied by them.

A Honda CRV is 2 WD Crossover. If your into the true SUV's like I am, my fav's are the Toyota 4-Runner and the Lexus GX. True 4 wheel drive capability and reliable. I am not into the crossovers. While they are cute, they are not functional as a true SUV is meant to be.

What about Nissan murano or Infiniti FX45? Any feedback on these two?
