After getting salary every month, I send 10% of it in my bank account. I never use it until I really need it. By this way, I can save my money. If not, I will spend all my salary and I won't have a few saving. Besides, I usually look for the ways to earn extra money. I use this income to invest for online works. How about you?

We save by automatic tranfer into separate account. Seem to work for us. We would only use this account for emergency purposes.

I can't use automatic account here. I only can open a normal account and I will send my money in it if I want.

My company don't pay salary via bank. I'll get cash from my accountant, then I'll send to my bank account. With this amount, I can use internet banking to transfer money to other accounts.

That's too bad. It is a lot easier to have auto transfer. Well, just sending money. It definitely better to have a little nest egg. In case, of emergencies.

I don't work but my parents transfer my pocket money in my bank account every month. I don't use all of it, just when I need it. But if I go for parties with friends, I know I'll spend all of it there so I try hard not to go often.

I believe that you know how to spend your money. Student life is quite difficult because we must depend on our parents about money. You should spend monthly money logical. If not, they won't be enough for you.

Cost of living is increasing. And I am really find it quite hard to save. But I m now trying to cut my spending to a very large extend. I am still earning around $200 from online artcles and work. The ironic part is that, it is still not enough. Just need to double up on being prudent and not to spurge around, I guess. Cheers

200$ per month is quite high if you live in my local. I know that the cost of living is increasing very day. However, we can save a bit if we really want to do. Our income is little, we'll save a little; our income is high, we'll save much!

I do it in multiple ways, really. I save 10 % of my salary automatically, as soon as my salary gets into my account, that is taken from it. I also make extra payments to my savings account on a regular basis, and I save almost all of my online earnings. Other than that, I also save all my change. That sounds silly, I know, but it really adds up in the end!

Great! I always think about how to save more in order that I can have an enough amount when I need. Continuing like you're doing, you'll have a best result.

Saving is definitely a must. However, low interest rates in the bank is turning our money into lower value in the long run. Maybe investment in Gold or property or at least in mutual fund is more reliable than relying on banking interest to survive when we retire :p Anyway, online income is also good, however i only manage to earn $10-$15 per week from online income.

You can keep this income such as saving. At the end of year, you'll have an amount in order that you can buy things which you like or you can invest them in your business. Great!

I dont go to the malls often because going there would tempt me to buy things to i dont really need. each month I also list the things i need to pay so that they are settled first, next i list the things i need to get from grocery. I always try to put a coin or two to my piggybank everyday! :)

Hi,i don't put part of my salary into the bank every month. Actually, i just draw some money from salary account out for the daily life. And when the left amount in the salary account reach to about 5000, i will put them in a short term deposit. Of course, if it is near some holiday, i will put more money for it. So i will not put money into the bank for two months. And when it is near the new year, and we will receive some bonus, i will calculate how much should i leave at home, and put the left into the bank.

I live on a retirement pension which means that I have to live on a budget. Nevertheless there are always ways for me to save. All my online earnings go to my paypal and then are used entirely on vacations and travel. I have always thought that vacations are a way of keeping healthy and I try to keep my eyes open for new experiences. Besides that untouchable money, I also save for vacations in my piggybank, Now, in my last vacation in Aruba a couple of weeks ago, I brought home a bigger one. I place there big coins with which I "pay" myself for doing chores that normally would have to be done by someone else. I don´t place more than a dollar a day there, so that I won´t feel I´m cheating.

I have manged to earn about $100 a month for 11 months a year after a lot of work. It is more difficult to earn if you don´t live in the US.

I don't work outside the home, and I am on a fixed income, but even so, it is so hard to save money because of the economy being so bad. It is so hard to save anythi9ng at all, since things do cost so much more than they used to. I do make a little here and there online, and without my fixed income, I would really be bad off, and as it is, I am struggling, so if and when I can save, I know that it will help me out when I really need it. Take care, and have a very good day.

I think that we should look for how to save money. Because we will have raining days and we need money to solve them. We can save a bit, don't need much. We'll get a bit to large amount day by day.

You have had a good source of finance. You maybe don't worry much about money. But I'm not. I only earn stable small amount every month, so I must save them to care myself in raining days.

I have been alike you. But now, I think that I must have a plan to save money for raining day. I begun with a high effort that I will keep 10% of my salary in the bank. I won't spend this amount. If I'm broken, I will borrow money from my friends or others. Then, I'll pay them when I'll get salary.
