in our country, to get a driver's license, you need to pass an written exam... you have to be familiar with all the traffic rules in order to pass this.. traffic rules are very important as these would keep the flow of traffic smoothly flowing..

I hope you had somebody to drive with you a couple of times first and drive aroudn the little street like the block aroud your house before you actually go to the main road and highway even though you have a license but seeing you haven't driven for years, you might forget or get panicky when you see lots of cars around.

I bought my car in 2006 when I was a learner driver. I almost gave up learning to drive because it was so difficult passing the practical test. I gave it another go in 2009 but due to the chief examiner being in the back of the car I made silly mistakes. I had one more go at the testy in early 2010 and amazingly passed. Since then I have been enjoying driving around in my car. Driving makes my life much easier and gives me more time to do that things that I enjoy. I don't have to waste time waiting around for trains and buses. When I go on a train it is a treat for my disabled son. Good luck to you in your new car.

Wow nice!!! I am 20 years old and i am not even able to go and get my learner's license also that's because i am too lazy. I know how to drive a care and a bike also but i still need practice because i haven't driven in a while if you ask me. I want to be able t drive but no one should ask me for license that's incredibly hard to do no? Cheers!

Good luck to you~ I hope that you can be familiar with the traffic rules as they are very important in driving. You can do that by driving everyday and just try to observe what other drivers are doing. Anyway there are traffic signs that you can see and try to follow. I used to love driving and it was like a hobby for me when i was 11 years old. But i got so sick and tired of it, now i just let my husband drive the car when he's with me. I consider it as a task now that i want to avoid.
