Hello, How can i convert a video avi or flv to a gift?
I wanna made small gif movies from part of movies..

here is a great software for video to gif converting.you can download it from
123 AVI to GIF Converter
http://www.bitsoft.net/download.php following site. but it is not free you can download a software and make gif but the gif will contain a watermark right in center of you gif which sucks.So i guess either you buy it or get a full version other miscellaneous ways.

Thanks man it is a greet software but has you said it ain't free
I found this one Ulead GIF Animator 5 and you can split movies and edit them with that software

i find 123 avi to gif converter best but i m using another software which is also great.it called Aoao video to gif converter. it can convert any format video to gif that is mp4,avi,wmv,etc and you can also add effects to gif like brighten,blur,greyscale etc and since we have option of choosing start point and end point slipting video is not required another great option this software has taking snap shots of any video although i use another software for that but still lol.
Great features come with great price.this is also not free but i have the serial.so just try software and if you like it i can give you the serial if you want.
i also love making small bits of videos to gifs

I believe that you can simply go to any search engine and type in free video converters and this will link you to some site you can download from and use the converter to do what you need

but yeah it would convert the entire video into gif
you can edit the video and then use covert the part you want
