Linux vs Windows

Well either you are spammer or you are stupid. Well if you don't know computer than how you posted here? How you joined mylot? Why you choose to ans the question in this category? why you didn't choose other category? Well each of us now know computer a little bit though if don't then we must try to learn.

I am sorry I don,t agree with you .If you think of a computer as a car, Windows would be an automatic and Linux would be, an automatic ,a manual,a low end,a high end,a hybrid,a customized,a solar,you name it.Computers are not only about Gaming,Social network and e-mails.The unix based platforms are much more robust and better suited for the workload demanded by advance of technology.Anyone can use a Linux OS but if we say I can walk so there is no need learning to ride or there is no need learning to drive because I can ride,then airplanes and rockets are only a dream.....

dgoose you are right Linux is more powerful tahn windows. It have mulit puprose uses as well it can be adopted in multiple platforms. There are multiple tastes of liunx with diffrent uses but window is more like entertainment based. The example of what you had given is best, i can't image how you compared them. It hard to do that you csn't put overhead to any ok! i belive linux has done a great job in cheap education, kerala had saved 50 crores of rupees by use of linux based computer in education system and that great!
