When will winter be over?

If you pardon the pun I truly believe it's the lull before the storm, and these freak acts of weather and changes in the climate are due to Global Warming and it can only get worse. Here in the UK last November we had a really bad spell of snow and I mean bad, we haven't had snow like that for decades, fortunately we escaped snow this year (so far!) but I am sure it's a sign of things to come. We had a very warm Spring day yesterday, and today it's wet, damp, dark and miserable, mind you it's not unusual to have four seasons in any given month here. In answer to your question I don't think it will ever be over sad to say.

Usually March is a month of unpredictable events and You go from snow to tornado specially here in Kentucky. Usually by the middle of April is when you actually start enjoying the spring.

I don't know... it's been a strange year. We've had some very warm temperatures for here this time of year, but it's cooling off again. I was getting gardening fever, but it looks like I'll have to hold off for awhile yet.

that was us on wednesday, however, i still had to go to work but my kids were off school. it is still cold here but the snow is melting and the sun is out. hubby has also already seen a robin. a very good sign here in canada!

Three months from now we will complain about the heat. Mother Nature has her own time table.

That's exactly what happened here too. It was quite a pleasant weather (though it was a bit chilly) the past week but yesterday suddenly we had this heavy snowfall. I actually love snow but I think we've had it enough this year. I seriously want summer to come soon.

I am so sick and tired of winter. It's cold, the snow gets in the way, and with snow on the ground, everything is the same damn colour, and gets in my way. AARRGGHH!! Can't wait till Winter is over.

Hi. Pose123. Winter will be over soon. It may just take a few more months for the climate to fully adjust. We have had snow in January and many businesses and schools were closed too. We have not had any snow since then though. But, we are now in the month of May, and the weather has been very hot and then cool at times too. We also have had a lot of rain between April and May too. It is most likely coming from the tornadoes in Nebraska though. We always seem to get the after effects of another storm that has take place somewhere else.

I think this climate change quite scary because its change our weather dramatically. Here in Indonesia we already had almost a year and half rainy season. Usually just six month so every thing become expensive especially vegetable. I think its something our technology can not overcome. i wish every thing will be back to normal again, and hope its will not leads us to famine.
